Day & Ross Freight

My experience with Lachine Day&Ross was primarily related to customer service. My package was at the Longueuil terminal, and I needed to pick it up there. To do this, I needed them to change the status to pickup instead of delivery. I received a call from them before I initiated contact, and the representative was incredibly courteous. She informed me that I needed a release form from the sender for pickup. After obtaining the release, I called back and spoke with Daniel, who was exceptionally helpful. I provided him with the release, and he promptly updated the status and provided relevant follow-up details. Later, I interacted with Rianna, who confirmed that everything was in order for me to pick up my package. I felt compelled to write this review because many other reviews appear negative, and I understand that working in customer service can be challenging.

I see a lot of negative reviews not a lot of people have common sense. I had a situation with my shipment. Calgary missed directed my shipment to Montreal. I have contacted Day and Ross in Montreal a young lady Rhianna helped me so much can you imagine she works all alone in customer service and tries to work on every single shipment coming in Montreal?! She does an amazing job
It is not a easy job. She asked me for pictures of my shipment that I provided. I worked with their over and short damage crew also with their dock manager.
This is what people do not understand, all transport company are not all the best. But people have never worked in transport company, they are quick to complain about their shipment this that. Long story short. I got an authorization to go get my shipment at the terminal. Yes, it took a little time to find you can really tell that they put in the work to look for the shipment. There was two young ladies at their check in the sweetest people on earth.
FYI everybody that was talking about no one answering the phone or emails. You guys are contacting the wrong telephone number and email ( you guys are contacting Hartland their worldwide customer service. I got the quickest reply and the quickest answer on phone from Day and Ross company in Montreal.

People fail to realize that there’s a 200% increase in online shopping all courier and LTL companies are completely swamped!, I’ve been here since 2007 I can tell you that this company is one of the best companies I’ve ever worked for and the dedication of their drivers go above and beyond!, Best Regards 13239 😎🏁

I had a Volt e-bike delivered to DDO June 8. My experience was excellent, the delivery man was friendly and offered to help me carry the 40kg box up the stairs. I did read so many terrible reviews but surely people only leave reviews when they have had a bad experience, so I felt I had to write about my own good experience with Day and Ross.

The atmosphere is super ok. Dispatchers are ok too
The directors make a super good team together. Others drivers are very friendly. Everything is high quality here.
