Book Trader

This place is the coolest. We were in from out of town and just wandering around on a Thursday morning. Book Trader was one of the very few places open, and I love books, so it was perfect. When you walk in, you feel like Belle, entering the Beast's library. Books everywhere you look, from floor to ceiling, and everything is maticilously organized. I had nothing particular in mind to get, so I just started browsing.

I spied a large collection of Hardy Boy books and remembered a friend was collecting them. I pulled a number of them I knew they were missing. A staff member saw what I was doing and let me know that if there were any more in the series I was looking for but couldn't find up front, she could check in the back. Sure enough, they had another 4 or 5 that I needed! As I paid, the staff member let me know that if there were more in the series my friend needed, that they could contact the store and they could keep and eye out for those numbers and hold them for them. Because we were purchasing so many books (34 in total) they offered a discount, which was greatly appreciated!

Needless to say, I was blown away by the atmosphere, superb staff, and overall love of books. I live an hour away but will be planning another road trip to come back soon. This place is a gem.

If you like to read. They have a little bit of everything. You can go in there and just pick one off the shelf and be surprised. Or you can go in there armed with your favorite author. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Sometimes you come out with something you didn't expect you were gonna get. Make a request ahead of time, and they will help you find that one you were looking for. I recommend you check it out.

One of the few rare gem bookstores left in Canada, awesome selection of vintage books for very reasonable prices. Love this store!

Excellent selection of books, with quite a large stock. A must visit for book lovers.

I found several novels of an extremely hard to find children's author from the seventies; as well as quite a few original Andre Norton paperbacks. I've been looking for these for over a year in Ottawa and they're very expensive to order online. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this secondhand book store for their large selection of popular novels from the last sixty years.

This book store was awesome. Great selection of books primarily used books. The store is located in downtown Brockviille. I purchases a number of books and will be visiting here again and again in the near future. The staff enjoy reading and books themselves.

The prices are fairly good and there's a huge selection of books ranging from Business to Self Publishing. From cookbooks to spirituality. I am a book addict and can say this store has a good selection and price range.
