Walked-in on a Thursday night and sat us down even though they had a reservation in an hour. Switched us to another table to give us more time since we ordered the lobster and was cutting it close. Great service! Super friendly staff and delicious entrees all around! The house made johnny reb’s spicy sauce was the best 😋 Will be back for sure next time we’re in town.

Rodney’s Oyster House was a treat. It was my first time there after seeing great reviews online. I loved the Oysters but also the various sides (calamari) they had as options on the menu. Definitely great value for the tasty food.

I loved how many sauces they had for the Oysters. Of course, it’s an Oyster house, but they had so many flavours to choose from that I almost ordered two dozen oysters just for myself. It has a great vibe to it, nothing too fancy and the food hits the spot. Bring your oyster lovers here.

We went there for the Low Tides and originally just gonna go for the oysters, but we decided to go for the sliders. It's truly delicious. I tried sliders from many restaurants and it was nothing but disappointment. The sliders from Rodney is eye opening. The oysters are fresh as always and the chowder tastes great too.

We love this place!!! Finally came here and really shocking we haven’t been yet as we’ve conquered DT for restaurants and we live in the area. This is my new go to place for seafood as their happy hour was amazing!! Beers 🍻 wine 🍷 and the dessert 🧁 all awesome!

Seriously… the crab 🦀 dip = insane good
The Sliders were so good!! I had a crazy idea of using the sliders with the crab dip and it blew our mind 🤯😂 and oysters 🦪 were excellent also!
The atmosphere was great and place was packed. And last but not least our server was just pure awesome. He was always around, always friendly and hands down one of my top 5 restaurants in the city which is really saying a lot as we’ve been everywhere. No question we will be coming back for years! Cheers all 🥳🤪🙏

I would say this is a great happy hour spot. The Halibut was good but 4/5, the veggie supporting cast quite good. Oysters were tasty and really enjoy the sauce options that accompany.

Great atmosphere. Amazing food & selections. Adult beverages were delicious, especially the Bloody Mary with shaved horseradish. We had a variety of food between 3 people.

I loved the Fresh Dill Vinaigrette on the Ocean Salad -- I WANT THE RECIPE for that dressing!! 🙏🙏

Waiters were fun & their shirts were hilarious. My 80 yr old mother approved of each & every one of them. ;)
We walked to BC PLACE after we ate to catch a Football game.

I love how open this kitchen bar is. It’s really fresh lobster since the server hands the lobster to us alive and ask is it okay for us. 😂 The quality of the food is the best👍🏻

Let me just tell you right now, I have never been to Vancouver, I googled where to go and this was top of most lists... So where did we end up? Exactly here! I wanted a lobster roll! I got a lobster roll with a fulfilling side salad and onion rings, seriously so filling. Michael was our original waiter, but sitting at the bar we met many more. I have a picture later to come not featuring Donnie, and let me just tell you THESE BOYS KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, the kitchen rocks the food, but these boys say let me see your socks and let me rock them off real quick fast in the most modest way to put it, ((Michael, Jim, Donnie, Seth and Justin (and Justin's accent is only a bonus he is from Australia)). Guys the oysters, the clams, the clam chowder, the scallops and the lobster roll are ALL TO DIE FOR. The vibe in the kitchen was incredible and you get to see it up close and personal if you have doubts or need to go pee. But most importantly back to this bomb food and service, please I beg you to try this. First time Vancouver visiter and this will be a must to go to each and every time!!! And if your manager is reading this guys it's just as much because of you than it is the food!!

Fabulous place for Oyster lovers where you can get some delicious sea food and vibrant ambiance. I tried their east and west cost oysters with interesting flavours garnished with some hot sauce mix (see pics). My host Jeff was cool and gave some great recos. Ohh and their Tiramisu is a bomb- must try! Overall a great experience.

5 stars all round. The oysters were fab, but I'd also reccomend the Seacuterie for a lovely selection. Will be back!

Loved the atmosphere of this restaurant.
Went in for happy hour twice; service was great - and the oysters were great. We went somewhere else to try their oysters but they were not nearly as good, so we ended up returning to this restaurant before leaving Vancouver.

So glad we found this place on our honeymoon from Australia. Casual vibe in an upmarket area. Staff made our experience exceptional with their friendliness, good recommendations and attentiveness. Special
thanks to the Aussie and the bearded Kickboxer bar staff. We will recommend this place to all our fellow travellers. East coast oysters (light and salty fresh) were better than the west coast oysters (too creamy). Seafood pasta was loaded with seafood, very tasty. Lobster Poutine was ok.

I always come to Rodney's for their fresh oysters - some of the best and most consistent in Vancouver. The east coast selection is my go-to. I love their variety of hot sauces and toppings as well. Great happy hour menu! 🙂

My partner and I checked out Rodney’s in Yaletown during his visit in Vancouver. If you pay attention closely to the decor, the theme reminds you of being on a ship! The food was great and the staff were so friendly!

We got the following on the menu during Low Tide (happy hour) that night:

🦪 - A dozen shucked oysters
🍔 - Mini Lobster & Shrimp Sliders
🍝 - Lobster Mac & Cheese

We loved that there were so many different house sauces available to use on the oysters. We had to try all of them! The oysters were so fresh and delicious! We really also enjoyed the Lobster & Shrimp Sliders and Lobster Mac & Cheese. They were soooo good! We could have probably ordered more of those sliders.

This was a great place for seafood and good times. Caught it at low tide for the oysters and ALL the sauces. Unlike other oyster bars, these sailors know what their customers like with their shellfish. Cool menu "boards" Got the Oysters, Crab dip, and Calamari. Add in some great service and good atmosphere, and I know we will come back here again. Great job to the crew that day!!!
