Your new favourite takeout joint. Incredible, authentic, just like grandma used to make it. If you have a group, try some of everything together! Super affordable and HUGE schnitzel! Homemade pickles, pirogies, and mushroom sauce worth a drive!
Atmosphere is super cute, lively with lots of plants! Owners are very friendly and really want you to enjoy your meal and time there! If you’re driving through or live in town and haven’t tried it, don’t skip it!

My husband and I went in this afternoon for lunch and I'm so glad we did! We ordered pierogis and schnitzel to share which were both delicious! I forgot to take a photo until the schnitzel was almost gone. I had the pickle soup and it tastes exactly as you would expect it to, if you've never had it (which I hadn't) It was sooooo good, I'll definitely be back for more. The owners are a husband and wife team, both so kind and welcoming. The restaurant is a small space, very warm and inviting. We will definitely be back!

A hidden gem! Our favorite place for take out of their Bistro Polo special which is a small variety of authentic Polish fare. Always hot and tasty. Can't wait to try their breakfast! We highly recommend this restaurant!

We came here because of the excellent reviews on Google and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the owners are so so so so so so nice. They talked to us a lot and we really enjoyed the conversation. The food we got was two kinds of schnitzel and pierogies and everything was excellent and very flavorful and very plentiful. We can't wait to return!

Fantastic spot! Great value and quality home style cooking. We tried a little bit of everything. The schnitzel was flavorful and tender, the perogies were cooked perfectly, and the cabbage rolls were delicious. Also be sure to try the homemade pickles. Cannot believe how much we ate.

Wow, what a fantastic surprise. The best schnitzel I've ever tasted. Being of Polish decent, I can attest that the mushrooms cabbage pierogies are very good and authentic tasting. (Not like the usual potato and cheese fried pub fare. If you are in town, this place is a must.

Schnitzel was amazing and the haddock was delicious! Order was put together very quickly. The owners are charming and welcoming. Will be back to sample more from the menu!

What lovely people serving the most amazing food. We honestly tried a little of everything and couldn't have been happier. The schnitzel, perogies and hunter stew were our favorites, and you have to try the homemade pickles.

We finally got to try Bistro Polo and we can't wait to go back. From the fresh produce grown right there to the super food (and very generous portions) to the amazing service...probably the best place to eat in town. Everything is homemade and the chicken snitzel sandwich was massive. The owners wife was making a special Easter dessert which she insisted we sample...and OH MY LORD...SO GOOD. Hoping Cesar will be there next time 😊

The couple running this restaurant were extremely friendly and hospitable to us.
The food was delicious and everything was homemade and very comforting.
Look forward to trying more of the menu next time I'm in Smith Falls!

Owners are lovely couples serving us in such a friendly environment. It’s not a place to rush through so take your time and enjoy their food and conversations. You won’t be disappointed.

My Mom and I really loved this place. The sauerkraut and pickles were both homemade and fantastic! Best sauerkraut I've ever had! The food was fresh, satisfying, and very reasonably priced. I had the Loaded Schnitzel on a bun and my Mom had the Classic Schnitzel. The atmosphere was bright, warm and friendly with relaxing music playing. The owners were so nice! Will definitely return and highly recommend!

Absolutely loved it! My husband and I got their weekend special (schnitzel, perogies, kielbasa and potato salad) and it was delicious! Everything we got was fresh, yummy and so filling! If you want something different that you will love, you HAVE to try these guys! By the time I realized I should take a picture of it for review, most of it was gone haha here are some perogies before they disappeared:)

Got some delicious takeout from here tonight! Everything was good but I especially enjoyed the schnitzel sandwich, hunter’s stew, and homemade potato salad. My small daughter demolished the pierogies and kielbasa sausage. Really nice people too. Highly recommend!

Lovely polish bistro. Dinner of perogies and hunters stew was delicious on a cold March day. Visited with the owners who were engaging and generous. Very homey feel to the place. Enjoy!
