It’s lucky for my bank account that this record shop is far enough away that I don’t get here often.

It’s a killer little shop loaded with some of the best new and used punk and metal you will find outside of big cities (hell it beats many big city shops).

Worth the drive to do some digging.

I've been shopping at Bud's since Jason and Emily have taken over.

While the layout has been tweaked over the years, the customer service has not. It never had to. It's always been top notch!

Even if they're chatting it up with a regular, don't be shy to break in with a question. They'll gladly help. You might even make a new friend with a lover of tangible music.

They offer a great selection of both used and new vinyl. I like to visit at least once every two weeks to look over the "new wax section". They never cease to amaze me with a title I didn't think I'd obtain brand new.

It sure feels good to have a local record shop again. One that is lasting.

Stumbled on this place completely by surprise. Old school comfortable familiar record store in Cornwall completely worth the drive from Ottawa Montreal even upstate New York. Felt like I was a kid rummaging through a classic old shop from back in the day. Such a jewel with so many hidden gems. Bud was phenomenal to talk to about a variety of topics. Talking music with him awesome, as he is extremely knowledgable and is an incredible resource and encyclopedia of music and medium. Need to check this place out. I guarantee you will walk out with something do you want owned, attached, or wanted as a youngster.

Always a great selection and prices. Jason and Emily, the owners, are wonderful people.
We make the drive from Montreal several times a year to grab some vinyl.
We always call ahead to make sure they are open.
Indeed, they were closed for a few days recently for a well earned vacation but this was clearly stated for weeks on their Facebook page and social media.
Small business owners need breaks too.

Great place to get records, I went for the first time this past weekend and it won't be the last either. Can't wait to find more treasures in that place.

Great shop, but like another reviewer said, I'm glad that it's a safe distance from Ottawa or I'd be spending far too much money here! Bud is super friendly and knowledgeable, and his prices are very competitive. Picked up these two albums new/sealed without even looking at the price as I've been looking for them for a few years now. Thanks again and I'll definitely be back!

Great energy, I found it feel relaxing flipping through the records, who ever was at the cash(maybe owner) was very helpful and polite when I asked questions. It’s truly a hidden gem in Cornwall! :]

They had a copy of The Planets on vinyl and bought it without looking at the asking price. Turned out to be only $12.00, which is a great deal imo. I enjoyed the atmosphere inside. They carry cassette tapes and 8 some tracks as well! Be sure to check their turn tables!

Bud's Records and Cool stuff is a gem of a store found in Cornwall. They have a great selection of vinyl with CDs, cassettes and other cool things. Strongly recommend you visit if you listen to good music.

I love me some small store that doesn't sell online. Why? Because you're guaranteed to find in-store something you've been looking for. This Jay-Z - Reasonable Doubt is the craziest find I made in a long time. I will be back to grab the few records I had in hands before I picked up the Jay record.

Amazing record store, love the vibe of the store itself. Employee was phenomenal and very knowledgeable about music and records alike. The selection was insane and left very happy!

The Store:
is a cool throwback to the Vinyl Era. It has premium classic albums on the wall. Plenty of crates organized in Genres with the prices clearly marked. Theres a new arrival bin and a slick CD section which runs right down the middle of the store. He also offers some equipment like amps and turntables. The store overall oozed a cool vibe without being totally disorganized like some of the other small stores I have visited.

The key to Bud's records is BUD! I caught him while he was eating and he insisted on helping me even after I said it could wait until he was done. I gave him my sons obscure Prog Rock list and he was a wealth of knowledge and even though he couldnt fill all of the list, he took the time to look around his store (including his personal collection) for other suggestions which my son ended up buying! I was happy to score some obscure hairband metal that I was more than happy to add to my collection.

Customer service second to none in this quaint cool organized store makes Bud's a MUST if you are in the area!

Incredible. Selection, atmosphere, nostalgia, staff, everything. It's a gem in Cornwall that I hope NEVER gets missed. RIP bud✌

Wasn't expecting much. But man, I was wrong. Super great selection! Punk, metal, classic rock, etc! Found myself a couple of nice titles. Recommended!
