So nice to have a local small bookstore in the area they owners are super helpful and I was able to find the book that I was looking for. I hope to be able to support the business again in the future don’t shop at Amazon and boycott Indigo! Support local! Super amazing curated selection of books and beautifully displayed. Highly recommend.

A great addition to the lower Lonsdale community! I spent the morning here with a friend and it was so peaceful! They have books beyond the few that go viral and are showcased at every bookstore, making them unique and original! I’m planning on going back with my sister next time!

Small but curated- really nice children’s book section that is not overwhelming, but hard to decide what to bring home! Nice card selection as well.

This place really brings back the magic of bookstores for me. I’ve been so happy since they moved into the neighbourhood. A wonderfully curated selection of interesting books. Feels like going to a personal library; I almost never walk out without a book. Have picked up a lot of random things here over the last year and have been really happy with all of them—the owners do a great job choosing interesting titles. Also an awesome place to go and grab someone a gift when you don’t quite know what to get them.

Awesome new bookstore in the revitalized Lower Lonsdale/ Shipyards area of N Van! Impressive selection of fiction and non-fiction, which seems carefully curated to Pacific Northwest readers, is nicely displayed on well-spaced shelves along the walls of the store. There are so many gems in store, bibliophiles like me will require much willpower to leave with just one or two new reads. 32 Books now has a serious rival as my favorite bookstore on the North Shore!

Truly wonderful North Vancouver bookshop. Excellent, knowledgeable staff/owners, with a great space and selection. Easily the best bookstore in the whole Vancouver area. It's just a short walk up from the Quay and well worth venturing to.

This is one of those places, where, as well as popular titles, you browse, find a book that looks interesting, that you have never seen or heard of before, and suddenly find you have a new favourite writer (at least that is what happened to me, with a Darryl Pinckney book - Busted in New York).

Cannot recommend this place enough. A proper bookshop.

I absolutely love this book store. The lady that works there is so lovely and gives the best recommendations. I look forward to returning again and again.

They have such a interesting selection of books that everyone is bound to find something interesting to read.

Wow what a gem!! This bookstore is a wonderful addition to the lower Lonsdale area. A beautifully curated selection of books that reminds me of the bookstores I had visited in London. The best part is finding books you wouldn’t typically see on bookstore shelves. I am so excited to visit again and again :)

Extraordinary selection of new books.

I like the large walking space at this store. You can go around the store comfortably and browse their amazing selection of books. I also like their many fiction books available because I enjoy reading them so much. Weekends are better spent by reading books.

If you live in or near North Vancouver BC you HAVE to visit Helicon Books at 125 West 1st Street. A truly lovely new bookstore, and a REAL bookstore, run by book-lovers.

Head down and buy something.

Beautifully set out, great selection, easy to see, very knowledgeable and helpful staff--Lizzie and Matt. Great location 2 blocks up from Lonsdale Quay. Whole area good for cafes, shops, the Shipyards. Don't miss it!
