Romeo and Juliet room had a great view on the lake and was really fun, with private in-room sauna and hot tub and lots of nice details (mini waterfall, starry ceiling, microwave hidden behind 'castle tower', etc.) Also, 2 TVs! As other reviewers said, breakfast is amazing. (We were full until mid afternoon.) The room had a fireplace and an optional outdoor jacuzzi. We used one of the free pedal boats. Overall, great place and I'd recommend staying 2 nights to fully enjoy the amenities.

The microbrewery about 3 min away is pretty good and opens later than the rest.

Staying at this hotel was an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, Carol, France, and Christian made us feel so welcome and comfortable. They are genuinely kind and attentive, and their warmth made a huge difference in our stay.

This was actually our second time here. We loved it so much the first time that we decided to come back to celebrate our honeymoon. It was the best choice near Montreal, and it did not disappoint. Our room was absolutely beautiful, with everything we needed to feel right at home. It was so cozy and well-decorated that we felt tempted to just stay in and enjoy it all day.

One of the highlights for us was the jacuzzi on the balcony. It was the perfect spot to relax, especially when the weather wasn’t great. We spent hours there, enjoying the warm water and the view—it made our stay extra special.

Every morning, we looked forward to the delicious breakfast. The presentation was lovely, and the food was amazing. You absolutely have to try the pain au chocolat! It was a delightful start to our day, every day.

The hotel’s direct access to the lake was another fantastic feature. It was so convenient to just walk out and be by the water. We had a blast using the canoes and kayaks. It was a mix of adventure and peaceful moments that made our time there unforgettable.

For anyone looking for a romantic escape, this place is perfect. The serene environment, the thoughtful amenities, and the genuine hospitality of Carol, France, and Christian make it an ideal spot for a romantic getaway. We felt so relaxed and pampered the whole time.

My husband and I just celebrated our wedding anniversary and truly loved our stay. Very clean, all staff members very kind and friendly,also had the opportunity to take advantage of the massage and it truly was the best massage I've ever had. Wonderful experience, beautiful view of the lake with private spa. Private romantic room. Delicious breakfast available in the room or on the balcony.

My partner and I went last weekend for my birthday getaway!! Was everything we could have asked for! The room we got was Caesar & Cleopatra and it was better than in the pictures. The service was wonderful, food was amazing (best smoked salmon I’ve had), the air was so clean and fresh and the view from the room and jacuzzi was phenomenal!! Oh yes the jacuzzi was amazing!! The jets worked out all of our kinks!! When we checked out we toured the area and it was also amazing very beautiful place!! Everyone was bilingual and super welcoming, which I was a little worried about. Highly recommended for couples needing to reconnect and relax or explore!! There are a bunch of nature activities!! We’re for sure going back for he James Bond themed room in the summer!!

This place is amazing. The hosts are friendly and try their best to make your stay a memorable one. The breakfast was far better than anything I expected and the room cleanliness was impressive.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and it was absolutely perfect! The owners are so sweet and you can tell they are very passionate about running this place well and keeping it beautiful. The value for your money is amazing! Stay here you will not regret it!!

Romantic gateway with my wife for her birthday. We rate this place as our favorite one. The Romeo & Juliette room is fantastic: two fireplaces, indoor and outdoor private hot tub/jacuzzi, indoor sauna, our private sky with 300 stars, and other things that will make your staying unique.

This is the second time we have stayed here, 5 years apart. I was happy to see they were still in business after covid has caused so many businesses to go under.

Don’t expect a commercial hotel experience, this is the opposite! You feel at home when you walk in the door. It’s always so clean and well maintained. We stayed in the 007 room both times and we love it as the room is very large. The homemade breakfast that is served to you in your room is always incredible!

Excellent property with a fantastic lake view. The owner and staff are highly pleasant and helpful. The room (Romeo and Juliet) design was unique with a great old and new time charm! Breakfast was incredible. We had an unforgettable experience! The title of The best of the best, is indeed accurate!

This place is a little piece of heaven. Accommodations were excellent. Lovely staff and an Amazing breakfast. The view from the terrace was great. Would absolutely recommend it. Can’t wait to return.

Been my 2 time going and happy to see they’re still in business after all the Covid stuff really amazing suites the presidential and 007 done now missing Romeo and Juliet and forgot the last one but know there are other one 😂 highly recommended romantic suites they should be a four-star by the way breakfasts are amazing. You have the option to eat outside if it’s nice or to eat in your room.

We stayed in the Presidential Suite and it was perfect. Upon arrival we were shown the room by Carol, one of the owners, who explained how to use the fire place and the whirlpool bath and showed us around the room and the little kitchenette right next door to our room that we could use at any time. The room was pristine. They do make you feel at home. There is a binder in the room with any information you could need and several menus on the way in if you want to order in or visit a nearby restaurant. The view from the rooms is amazing. We had a small issue on our second day and called Carol and she was on the way to fix it almost before I called. Her number is provided in the binder along with all the other information. They give you a paper when you arrive so you can choose your breakfast for the next morning and for the 2 days we were there we tried a few of different breakfasts. I think the best was the crepes but it was all delicious. It’s a great romantic getaway yet it’s close to everything and within walking distance to a few restaurants and a pharmacy. It’s also not too far from Walmart, Maxi, Giant Tiger and a Dollarama. Within walking distance to those if you don’t have too many things to buy. Please do yourself a favour and give this place a try. You won’t regret it.

This Auberge is really amazing -- the photos do not do it justice. Our room - Romeo and Juliette- was extremely clean and comfortable and classy. The view is amazing! This was the perfect place to rest and recoup after our bike trip!

My boyfriend and I were staying in Montreal from Ontario for a few days and wanted 1 night at a nice romantic hotel that had a cool theme. We chose the Adam & eve room and it was perfect! The jacuzzi tub was great . Breakfast was also amazing. The staff is all super friendly and we're happy to speak to us in English since our French is not good at all. We went out on the pasdleboats and kayaks after we checked in which was super fun yet relaxing in a way. We also paid extra for the private hot tub which was really nice. We would definitely stay here again, in a different room, and will mention this place to everyone!

Great time! They thought of everything you could possibly need for couples fun time!
My partner felt comfortable, which is rare for him when we leave the city due to the lack of diversity. But they made us feel really comfortable and not a whiff of discrimination.

The room was super nice with the private spa, sauna and huge whirlpool. The room was also very clean and well furnished. Personnel was all very nice and helpful and we were allowed to do some paddle board after the checkout ! Were will be returning very soon :)

We stayed in ceaser alopethera room for two nights. It’s a nice place to visit for any couple. The thing I like the most is the theme rooms which is really amazing. The owner is very helpful and friendly. The view from balcony is also very nice and their is a lake in front of balcony where he provided paddle boats, kayak and bikes to enjoy in the water. also this place is very quite and relaxing.i would recommend anyone who is thinking to spend a romantic vacation to must stay here..

The place and the lake + mountain view from rooms is amazing. Two years ago, me and my husband stayed in Romeo and Juliet room and this time we stayed in Presidential suite. Both rooms were great. The breakfast service and options are great as well. The bathtub in Presidential suite is GIANT!
