Very beautiful place. calm and quiet area. Love the place more in my every visit. Mother Mary's church makes me love the place more. The walking trail is little tough but you will enjoy the view from the top.

Open to visitors from spring to late fall. Beautiful sanctuary on the side of the hill. The sanctuary holds services until about September 29 of each year. They have benches outside among the trees. Very beautiful setup. A must-see if you're on the way between Montreal and Ottawa.

Beautiful spot! Highly recommended for nature, religion and simply for relaxing environment! A short hill to reach the famous « potato field », formation of the glacier. Amazing maple trees and autumn colors 🍁

Church closed in autumn until end of spring, but you can still hike year round and walk around

My boyfriend and I discovered this place by accident today on our drive around Rigaud to see the fall foliage, and boy are we glad we did! We were enticed by the crowd of tourists and families heading into the forest to hike, so we followed! We wish we had brought some hiking shoes as the trails were rather muddy, but it was an easy enough climb. We came across some vast patches of stones, which gave way to nice fall foliage. Next time, we'll follow the trail all the way to the sanctuary (now that we know what's there!). There is a picnic area and bathroom at the base, right at the parking lot.

This place is super nice for meditation and prayer. It's peaceful, but watch out for those pesky mosquitoes in the afternoon. They'll bite you up real bad.

Very nice church. Surrounded by lots of trees. Less crowded compared to other churches. Lots of parking space available. Bring your own food as there aren't any cafeteria available. Washroom facilities are not that great. Very famous place for prayers

Very nice place to visit, so quiet and so green!!! You can bring food and enjoy a picnic with your family and friends.

Really nice hiking place, makes sure to bring bugs spray. We got bit by so many mosquitoes. I will definitely come back here to hike and visit this beautiful historical church when I’m in town.

This church is an exceptional place. It’s one of the outdoor masses you can go to surrounded by trees and nature.

The people there are friendly kind and polite and it’s beautiful.

I feel amazing when I go there and you can also do walks hikes or jogging/running there. It’s beautiful sanctuary and if you haven’t been you need to see it for yourself. It’s open during the warm and hot season though so in the cold season it’s closed. But you can still visit.

A would recommend and worth seeing and visiting if you haven’t.

Lovely sanctuary. It was fairly quite when we arrived. Very clean and peaceful place. Some interesting historical facts can be found around the place too.
