I couldn't be more pleased with the treatment I received for a minor procedure. Doctor and nurses were wonderful, kind, compassionate and had a sense of humour. They did everything in their power to make me comfortable and at ease. Such a difference from the way you are treated in larger centres where they make you feel like you are bothering them by just being there. Thank you for making a not so pleasant procedure a great experience.

Great service by all the nurses and doctors. They explained everything carefully and took extra time to observe to make sure everything was fine. Shout out to the reception for taking care of us quickly.

Unbelievable service! My dad was levelling a 480 square foot shed, and took the full weight of it via farmer jack to the jaw, and had a laceration very close to his jugular. They had him in to see a doctor before I had time to park the truck. Transferred him via ambulance to another hospital for a CT scan, and had us out in 3 hours. Everyone from reception, to nurses, to doctors went out of their way to keep my mom and myself informed the whole time. The doctor had incredible bedside manner! Even when giving potentially grim news, he delivered it with empathy and understanding. I have never experienced that level of compassion and communication at any healthcare facility, ever. Even the paramedics took the time to let us know that my dad was the patient behind them, and gave us their prediction on the timeframe of his return. A giant thank you from myself and my family for the amazing job the entire emergency team at Perth Hospital did! Keep up the amazing work you’re doing!

The hospital is quite efficient, considering they are understaffed.

I hope people realize this and exercise some respect while waiting.

I spent about 3.5 hours and had multiple tests, and it appeared they were doing as much as they can with what they had.

Caring, kind, supportive…staff. Work as a team. They listen, explain…could not ask for better care. This hospital is a “role model” hospital for Ontario. Thank you for all you do! For those that disagree I suggest you do some self reflection. “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. Choose kindness always.” Forever grateful.

Knee scope yesterday and recovering well. Based on my experience, our system is far from broken. Dealing with this since last June but within 6 months from first app had, dr app, xray, MRI, surgercal consult and surgery within a week of consult. Hoping not to upset anyone currently waiting for theirs but this should give hope to all. Everyone I dealt with from docs to nursing staff, admin and volunteers were extremely friendly and helpful. They are overwhelmed and overworked most days so be kind and patient as many are dealing with their own challenges and trying to help us at the same time. Thanks to all the staff at the Smith Falls Hospital. Not in rush to go back to the hospital, but hope to receive that same level of care when needed in future. Please support nurses, doctors and all hospital staff as we desperately need to keep these publicly funded institutions successful for ourselves and the future generations.

Dr. James Simpson is phenomenal. I've been to hospitals in Sarnia, Leamington, and Smith's Falls and this has by far been best experience. He is empathetic and understanding. He listened to me seriously, even provided his own experience to relate to my experience. Made me really felt listened to.

I was suffering with severe pain in my stomach area and after a meal i was practically buckled over not able to move but the pain was tremendous . My wife drove me to Perth Memorial Hospital and I was looked at almost immediately (I guess they recognized the severity of the problem) and put on a IV solution. The doctors took care of me like I have never been taken care of before and after some tests they concluded it was my gull bladder that was giving me all the grief.
They had to admit me and I was there for four days, but those four days were like none other at a hospital.
All the nurses and doctors seemed to go above and beyond to make me comfortable and explain things and again truthfully I have never felt like everyone cared before in any other hospital like they did here.
Yes they can use some equipment, like a MRI etc. etc. but given what they have it was excellent. No complaints what so ever.

The Perth hospital has the best ER doctors and nurses! They do their job perfectly and always have so much compassion for their patients! My son has been through so much lately! Knowing my son is getting the best care when he needs it, takes so much stress out of the situation!
Thank you for everything you do!

I've had a handful of experiences with this hospital now and all I can say is I've always felt well taken care of and the doctors took the time to deal with your ailments. Evidently wait times are an issue everywhere, but I've experienced hospitals in the past that were a complete nightmare. Overall happy with Perth Hospital.

After my knee replacement, I went to the Physio department at the Perth Hospital for 5 weeks. Chantal and Dayna were amazing. They were completely professional, extremely knowledgeable and so helpful. Thank you for helping me with my rehab.

I went to the emergency unit for an abnormal allergic reaction to an antibiotic I was taking. The wait time was shorter than I’m used to even though there were a number of other people waiting in the ER. I found every single staff member I interacted with from Administration to Nurses to the Doctor to all be incredibly thorough, kind, and compassionate. I was especially impressed with the doctor who even after having blood work come back normal, took the time to re-examine me and discuss my concerns. I had to wait for test results so I had the chance to hear how the staff approached other patients, they were attentive and friendly across the board. They don’t rush you out as they do in many other hospitals. Perth and surrounding areas are lucky to have this hospital and it’s caring staff around when we need it.

I went to the Almonte hospital due to an elbow issues I had been dealing with for years. I finally walked into the hospital and waited about 12 hours to see a doctor that told me it was tennis elbow and that I didn't need an x-ray (after I insisted). I was very upset!
I then went to the Perth hospital. I was seen by 4 different technicians, nurses, and the doctor and found out that I had a chip in my elbow and was scheduled to see a specialist. I was out of the hospital in 3 hours!!!
The Perth hospital is amazing

Went in around 8am last week, nobody in the waiting room. Front desk was kind and helpful, nurses were great, doc was great! In and out in less than an hour. If your issue is not terribly painful or life threatening, consider going early in the morning if you don't want to wait in line.

I don't know why all the negative reviews. As my first time at this Hospital. I was in and out in a jiffy. The staff are super polite and caring. Thank you very much for helping me on the spot without me having to fill a prescription. Keep up the good work and stay safe.

I presented to the emergency Department by ambulance with a heart attack on April 27. I just have to tell you how impressed I was with the care I received during my stay at your hospital. From ER, Dr Taylor and ER nurses to ICU , Dr. C Last and Dr. Del Grande, Joann, Elain, Cheryl to mention a few and the medical floor nurses who went above and beyond to address my needs following my Angiogram.
It’s natural that they are good at what they were trained to do but I speak to the empathy shown me throughout at a very stressful time. I so appreciate each and everyone. Thankyou.
