We had been looking for a post and beam screened room for our lake side deck for several years when we chanced across a FB post with exactly what we had in mind. After discussing the design, materials and cost with Stephen, we were pleased to place an order with him. And we have been equally pleased with the quality of the work done by Stephen, Pat and Simon in preparing and installing the timbers, screen walls and roof. The room will serve our family well for many years.

Ottawa Valley Timber Works, Stephen and his team did an AMAZING job recreating our deck after the 2022 Derecho. They were SO easy to work with and did a BEAUTIFUL job. I can't recommend and thank them enough!

Stephen and his crew built a screen house in our backyard last fall. Stephen was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The screen house is beautifully contructed with a timber frame with traditional joinery. Stephen built the frame in his workshop and the rest was constructed onsite. Way more convienent than having a prefab gazebo delivered and Stephen was very open to customizations! The friendly team did a fantastic job and built the screen house in about a week. I would highly recommend Ottawa Valley Timber Works.

We recently had our deck built by Stephen and his team at Ottawa Valley Timber Works, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Steve built us a gorgeous one of a kind outdoor room in our backyard. The large beams in black ( Shou Sugi Ban) contrast beautifully with the light white pine, and the soaring ceiling inside allows us to hang fans or heaters depending on the season . Addition of electricity to the roughed-in wiring done by OVT, and the addition of plexi-windows allows ys three seasons of use!
