Country Diner Restaurant

We came in and were greeted immediately, we sat and our waitress came out to get our drink order quite quickly. She was sweet and very polite. We ordered breakfast and I personally don’t enjoy coffee so they changed the breakfast special to include my hot chocolate instead!! It was very much appreciated. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable. A good family place. Food was inexpensive and absolutely delicious! Staff was polite and service was fast! I will be returning :)

My daughter and I were in Ottawa for her her soccer game, we decided to take the long way home and came across this amazing diner. as soon as we walked in the staff and other patrons were no kind,, the food was amazing and the waitresses were amazing. We both are definitely going back very soon!!

Friendly staff, great breakfasts. George's special or turkey club are my go to. Frequently come never disappointed.

Suuuuper fast service. Went for breakfast. Our bacon and eggs were out in 5 minutes. Love their efficiency. Breakfast was priced lower than most other places without sacrificing quality.
A group of 20 somethings were dropping non stop f bombs around young children in the dining area. But that's not Country Diners fault. It just made breakfast with my son very uncomfortable.

Does what it says on the tin - a country diner. We had breakfast - pancakes were really lovely and fluffy, all very tasty. Cheerful and friendly service. Clean washrooms.

Visited a few times and I was never disappointed. The service and food have been quick and very good. I'm on my way again this morning with my daughter.

Second time comming here and again the second time having amazing service. Best breakfast I have had out in years. I feel I will become a regular.

This diner has very friendly and helpful staff. The food tastes great, and the prices are very reasonable. For $8.99 we received 3 eggs. 2 Slices of toast. A Selection of white, brown or rye bread. The rye bread was no extra charge. This was a nice treat on its own. Ham, Bacon or sausage. I selected bacon, and home-fries sliced as medallions, a refillable coffee, and a nice slice of orange that tasted sweet and accented the plate nicely.

Everything was cooked well, and nothing was overcooked or burnt from rushing the process.
The french fries with were golden, crispy on the outside and soft (not dry) on the inside.
The grilled cheese was nicely done as well, golden, no burning, buttered right to the edge (no dry spots), and no charring. We enjoyed the food and drinks very much.

We were able to pay with a debit card.

This was our first visit to the country diner. My brother and I get together for our monthly treat of ( sorry folks) liver, bacon and onions. The food was excellent, cooked to perfection, tender and so tasty. Staff were busy but amazing, friendly and super on top of things. Very attentive to our needs without being pushy. Totally enjoyed the whole meal.
Place is small but very cozy and the staff made it work. Wiil be returning.

An excellent little country diner, always great food, always great service. A go-to place to eat whenever it's open.

My daughters and I just love Country Diner. The food is really great, we usually go there for breakfast, but lunches and dinners are great too. Good ole fashioned home cooked feel to the food. We’ve been there many times over the years and I always feel like I’m amongst family and friends with the servers always being so welcoming. The owners give back to the community as well, they are great people. Whether it’s sponsoring teams or coaching, they are a big support in the community. My daughters and I just love Country Diner, I’m certain they’ll have many great childhood memories of the place when they’re older. Thank you for being there all these years, you guys are awesome!
