Very efficient process and friendly staff. No solicitor when I was taking the car out. Maybe as an emerald member, I am glad to have many similar class cherry cars to select on site. They have many new and clean cars for customers. One of the best rental experiences I have had.

Marc was immensely helpful in booking us a vehicle when our flight was cancelled and we had no other way home. Great car and great experience overall. Thanks again!

I had made reservations at montreal airport woth budget . When we arrived there was at least 50 people in line who had waited over two hours for their vehicles (see photo for yourselves).
I walked over to national and they placed me in a new Chrysler 300 within 10 min . $300 cheaper than Budget for the week. Thanks to Omaid who was very courteous and got us on our way quickly

I had a very positive experience with National at YUL. I signed up back home with their App for their Emerald Club membership, reserved the car. Was early for pick up but they had the car ready real quick. They even upped me for a higher categorie. It was a quite long rental and when I picked up the car, the hold on my card was substentially larger amount then what the contract stated.
I wanted to be on my way, so I did not pay attention to it. On our return day I mentioned this and Marco Spaziani solved all our problems, even made a better deal! Thank you again!

Always a great experience at National Car Rental. Once you have reserved online you just show up, walk to the car park, pick a vehicle and drive, after they check your credentials. Good selection of vehicles also. Highly recommended.

I got a premium suv through Alamo car rental and on day 2 vehicle was having some issues so I had to drive back to the airport to switch a car. Nirujan Antonypillal was the representative who helped me out. He was very friendly and professional and got me a nicer SUV very quickly. He is the nicest car rental representative I have ever come across! Thank you very much Nirujan for your help!

In and out in 5 minutes, great selection in emerald aisle, car was very clean, and very friendly service. Highly recommended if you don't want to wait in line for 30-60mins!

I have been an executive member with National Car rental company for a few years, but have never written a review for a specific location. With that said, almost always National is the easiest company to rent from once you set up an Emerald Club account.
I just wanted to comment about this specific location at Montreal airport (YUL). The gentleman and young lady working this morning in the Emerald Club pick up area, January 1, 2020, I felt went above and beyond my expectations and made my experience perfect.
They were working during a holiday and couldn’t have been kinder. Well done!

I have been dealing with National for many years. I am always satisfied with the price and condition of the vehicle selected. Cars are always clean and ready to go with full tank. The personnel at YUL are friendly and efficient and I am always happy with both the pick-up and return of the vehicle. Changes are easily made with the reservations centre, extensions, early returns, changes of location... all have been accommodated by National. I am a very happy customer and recommend National to anyone looking to rent a car.

I always use National when I visit Montreal, they have good selection and do a great job keeping the cars in good shape. On my last trip, I had to leave the car at a nearby hotel parking lot due to heavy snow overnight. I was planning to drop the key and call back to ask them for help. When I got there at ~4:30 am, to my surprise, a gentleman was still working at the counter, turned out he was working over time by himself. He graciously agreed to work with his manager to help arrange the pickup. Later I was further surprised that they didn't charge me for the pickup or the time that the car stayed at the hotel parking lot. This is easily the best car rental service I have used anywhere. It is especially comfortable knowing that in case something goes wrong like what I experienced, they got your back.

National's Emerald Club service works very well. Fast and without hassle. I had the opportunity this time to select a Nissan SUV with less than 5000km. It was very clean inside which is not easy considering Montreal winters. Car drove very well. Check-in and check-out service was quick. Staff was extremely friendly.

National is by far the best car rental company going. They totally understand that my time is limited when I'm travelling on business, and being able to just walk straight to their cars, pick the one I want and drive out with only a brief stop at the exit kiosk to swipe my card and license is an incredible treat. No time wasting line ups at the counter - just right out the door. What a brilliant concept!

great staff.. since i am an emerald user , it allows me to choose any car from the aisle . It is really quick.. And staff answers to all the queries u have. overall a great experience. even the staff at Stanley Montreal branch is awesome. Quickly let ur hands on the Wheels , without wasting time. !! Will choose National Car rentals for future drives.
