When my 12 year old TV finally gave up, I immediately thought of London Drugs as the place to get a new one. I checked online and visited the store and was able to find exactly what I wanted. They couldn't actually find it in the back, but they came back with a slightly better model with a managers discount. It's important to be able to speak to staff who actually know what they are talking about and LD seems to always have that capability. I get most of electronics (and cookware) there.

Always fun to visit this store. You can get alll your needs, all yours wants and all the things you didn't know you could think of wanting. Worth a visit. Good service.

Great service from Sean and the team in the Electronics dept when I wanted to trade in a camera for other gear. I got feedback promptly about the trade-in value and after I selected what I wanted to trade for, Sean took the time to explore the best options and got me a really good price. I also bought a laptop from the Yates location last year and had really great service then too.

I've had the pleasure of having Tony Maguire help me over the last 10 years with developing my photos. Recently I was in a few times to get photos done for my daughter's celebration of life. This was a pretty emotional time and he handled my situation with such kindness and of course solved all my photo problems, as usual. He is one amazing employee!

My friend and I entered this LD to fix her phone on today ( leap day 2024) and had a beautiful fulfilling experience.
From first impression, we naturally assumed the man with a ponytail in computers (Nell?) would have all the answers to our problems. Then, a mysterious character blindsighted us (very quietly). He singlehandedly solved our problem while providing exceptional knowledge on the new teenage mutant ninja turtles movie. He was compassionate, caring, charismatic, charming and probably other adjectives that begin with C.
This day only comes once every four years, and we wouldn’t have spent it any other way<3

For 25+ years Loretta in the cosmetics department is the GOAT ! 🫶🏻 such a great help, kind, reasonable and has fab suggestions since as long as I can remember. Give this hard working gal a raise !

Love this store, great variety of products, the best to find British chocolate, very helpful staff, will be going to Canada on ferry to get more goodies soon

I love london drugs ever since I was a child. The staff are helpful if questions are asked and they match competitors prices, so i try to choose here vs the bigger stores to get electronics etc.

This is one of my favourite stores. They carry everything and they are helpful with technical advice and electronics

I am a regular at the Yates street location and I always enjoy frequenting the photo and electronics department as well as buying daily necessities.

I bought a few things here a while back. One Christmas order from the photo lab where the two staff on duty, Tony and Satomi, were really helpful and explained the photo service well. They are also very good at being professional when very difficult customers are there. I don't think I could do it, myself. Finally, I have never met him but understand that it is Dennis who works behind the scenes in the photo lab. I think he does a fantastic job making sure everyone gets their orders fulfilled and deserves praise for his great efforts.

Whenever you get news you need to repair your iPhone it’s difficult to know what to do but this time I made an appt at London Drugs and the tech department took such incredible care of me and my partner. If you want real customer service, come to this location. We were helped by 3 different guys and all of them were super friendly and were just trying to get me my phone back as soon as possible. All in all a real delight. Thanks for the awesome service guys. You have a couple of loyal customers. Keep up the great work. We appreciate you.

Always a pleasure to visit this location. Friendly staff, organized store, and usually quite clean for a high-traffic, urban location. One of my preferred places to shop.

Shout out to the London Drugs on Yates! The store shelves are full of great Christmas ideas and the staff are so helpful and friendly. I must have had 6 staff people welcome me and smile and offer help. Quite impressive these days. Bravo. Got all my stocking stuffers in one store.

I recently switched to this pharmacy about a month ago now from shoppers and I have to say that I am floored by how much better the service is here. The pharmacists have been incredibly nice and accommodating as has the general staff when refilling my prescriptions. The prices are also WAY better. I knew I was overpaying at shoppers but I didn't realize just how bad it was. My only complaint is that I wish I'd switched months ago!

I have been shopping here for years and never had a problem that couldn't be fixed. The staff are friendly and helpful, the selection is good, and I especially love the people and resources in the photography department.

I also want to recognize how incredible the staff have been during the pandemic. Life has been hard for everyone, and retail workers are among the most important, yet worst treated, individuals in our society in the last 2 years.

Edit: I have recently readjusted this review from 1 star after London Drugs has decided to remove disinformation regarding COVID-19 from the front of store.

I went to the service department to get my cracked iPhone screen fixed. We had a miscommunication and it wasn’t ready on time, but management stepped in and turned the situation into a positive one. They clearly stand behind their service and their products, and their exceptional support honestly made my week. I will definitely be going back. Thank you London Drugs!
