Very friendly and good service. They are definitely a 5 star after helping me solve a problem concerning a battery charger issue. Everyone who works there is totally professional in attitude and helpfulness.

Excellent service by John this past week. I had to get a broken button on a piece of equipment replaced and it was done in house, under warranty and with a very quick turnaround. Great service - thank you!

We had been looking for a drive belt for our furnace. We had the part number of the belt and saw on Amazon that this same belt was used in many different situations, washers , driers, chainsaws, vacuums etc. It was a very generic belt. However when we went to pick one up at many places in town, we hit a brick wall! Everywhere would only sell it if we knew the model number of the washers , driers, chainsaws, vacuums etc. where it was used. ! Until we got to Western equipment and saw Carlee(?) What number is on it? Oh that's an A40 , we have lots! In minutes we had the belt, and at a good price!

Arrived to the store a couple minutes after it closed, needed an item fairly urgently for the long weekend for work, they were very kind and polite, and actually opened back up a till to ring me through and help me out! Very much appreciated 🙏

Went in recently to purchase some safety equipment.
Super clean, organized, and well-stocked store.
Both clerks were polite and helpful. Had to wait a few minutes while they worked with some other customers, but got taken care of quickly after that.
Seems like they are also well-stocked on tools, and next time I need a socket or wrench I will probably try here first.

Came in on 2 separate occasions dealing with 2 different people. First occasion I needed a fuel line and a pull cord for a old chainsaw. The employees were very kind and knowledgeable quickly found me what I needed. The second time I needed a flywheel nut and although they didn't have one for my vintage pioneer chainsaw; the gentleman went out of his way to determine the size and threading I needed so I could find it online. Really nice company with down-to-earth people working for it. I brought my 5yr old son in with me and bought him a toy chainsaw and the lady behind the desk found an old Sthil baseball cap for him and made him feel special.

I switched last year to Western E after a bad experience with Sunbelt, (where I bought most of my gas powered landscaping equipment) I switched to an electronic weed Wacker/hedge trimmer and blower. I had a bunch of questions about their new Stihl line and John had all the answers for me, I was pleased with his customer service over the phone. I can't remember the other guy, he's super friendly and seems very knowledgeable about the products. It can be a bit busy at times, there's only 2-3 of them upfront and line ups form fast.

I have purchased from Western Equipment for personal use and for work for several years now. The staff has been very helpful and knowledgeable with all my requests. I have recommended their services to many of my co-workers and friends over the years and they all have been very happy with their services. I am planning to do business with them for as long as I can.

I've been going here for a couple years for work and personal equipment and they are my choice for small engine repair and service in Victoria. Also Stihl dealer. They are always down to earth, no BS, no upselling - just solid advice and honest assessment. Never been overcharged. Often, the mechanic will call me and have sorted the issue for $50~ or so when I told them was willing to spend $100+. The one time they botched a repair job I took it back and they immediately fixed the issue no charge no questions and put me at the front of the cue so I could get the tool back into service ASAP. I've had them work on blowers, hedge trimmer, pole saws, consumer and pro chainsaws, etc.

I own Gold Standard Hauling and Services we primarily specialize in roll off disposal bins and cartage. I have busted two heavy duty cables. And literally within 20 mins of walking through the doors Tyler is on it, fabbing up a new cable! His customer service is impeccable and he genuinely cares about getting me back out into the streets conducting business as per usual. Thank you Tyler for saving me not once, but twice! And the rest of the staff at Western Equipment.

I have a mechanical push scooter which my son broke, and I have been trying to figure out how to fix for months. I went to a bike shop, but they did not have the parts needed. They suggested I go to Western Equipment as that is where they purchased these sorts of things from. I came in with my sad, broken wheel, and two gentlemen on the counter immediately went to work inspecting, measuring and trying various things until they were able to fix it, and even put the wheel back on the scooter for me. They seemed genuinely interested in the puzzle of how to fix it. I was amazed at the level of customer service, and am thrilled that my little scooter is ready to roll!

Such a great experience! Came in with a chainsaw with a broken chain, the mechanic fixed it for me on the spot and showed me how to adjust the tension for next time. Excellent service and great price!

I bought the least expensive Stihl Chainsaw here but the staff still gave me amazing customer service. I was sold on the saw within 10 minutes but they spent another 30-45 minutes making sure I knew how to use and service the saw inside and out.

These guys really know their power equipment and are always great to deal with. They are also the only company close to central Victoria offering service and repair!
