Foundry Coffee Bar

We got take-out. The pecan bar was delicious!... Gooey caramel and nuts on top with a shortbread base. Peanut butter cookies were also very peanut-y. Coffees were also good! Comfortable, airy vibe. Will definitely be returning.

Besides being a great local coffee shop, The Foundry Coffee Bar is such a uniquely lovely place! I love to just go it to get as a take out an order for me and an employee including an Americano and a Vanilla Latte with a cookie. It is a great place to just sit down with someone else and chat. The staff always nails the order, and they even have high quality brand merchandise for sale (beanies and t-shirts currently).

Stopped by this lovely cafe during the Bridge Street Summerfest. The service and coffee were good, while I also enjoyed the live music, though I am not sure if this was a special event due to Summerfest. Would happily come back the next time I am in Carleton Place.

Excellent experience on our first visit! It's already popular and deservedly so especially given there's not many (if any) places of even near this quality in CP coffee house wise.

Beautiful inside - obviously something they've really considered and it shows - kind of a Scandinavian vibe I guess. They've made the most of the space because it's not that big - we did get seats straightaway but I can imagine at peak times might not always be so lucky but that's to be expected.

Dirty chai latte was superb - probably the best I've had in Canada and a generous size, the breakfast wrap, cookie and Nanaimo bar were all of the highest quality and I'd recommend them all. I really enjoyed the fruit that came with the wrap - little touches like that show the extra level of thought that's gone into this place. Service was friendly and very efficient - food came surprisingly quickly given it was busy. Quality is high so I feel the prices are very fair for what you get.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this place develops over time but if it maintains this quality then CP and the surrounding place will be lucky to have it.

Great little spot. It's a nice place to come have a coffee or specialty drink. Nice place to sit and work for a bit or just catch up. Really fills a gap that was missing in downtown carleton place. The staff is super nice and everything I have had there is delicious. It's a bit pricier but given the quality and atmosphere, it's worth it. I would highly recommend

Met a girlfriend up for coffee with my little guy on a beautiful Wednesday morning. It was such a comfy atmosphere, we joined the large table and met some lovely people. The staff are amazing, kind, and efficient.

If you like Chai Lattes this place has a spectacular Chai, spiced and sweet, my son couldn't get enough of their herb and cheese scone and date square

Super nice and airy spot right on the Main Street in CP! They make a velvety smooth London Fog and I’d highly recommend the chocolate chunk cookie (which is vegan). I was particularly interested in their merch and other goods for sale too. They had tons of seating options and I’d love to come back here with my laptop to work next time.

Awesome location, close to parking. It has such a fresh but warm and cozy atmosphere, the staff are wonderful , the food selection is fabulous (many vegan options!), their oatmilk London fog is incredible, vegan breakfast Sammie to die for, and vegan coffee cake is a dream! Honestly, just go check it out.

Excellent new coffee shop in Carleton Place. Everything about the place is good. Coffee is very good, service is friendly and atmosphere is inviting. Highly recommended.

Nicely renovated and cozy atmosphere. Good spot for a quick break especially the roads are now finally fixed and reopen to public. Happen to drop by at Carleton place. Staffs are well mannered and care with above and beyond. Try out their mushroom toast and you won't be disappointed with the taste and presentation. The flavor from the shroom, goat cheese pesto and sour dough blends in nicely.

Take out box handed out with care as well.

Definitely will return again.

I visited on opening day and it was bustling! Great atmosphere right out of the gate! I only ordered an Iced Americano and a Nanaimo Bar but they were both perfect. Staff was super friendly helpful. I will for sure be back. Great to have some good selection for coffee in the downtown area.

This cafe has it all - incredible food that's allergy friendly (vegan & allergy accommodating options) for both breakfast and lunch , plus friendly, accommodating staff that goes above & beyond . I had a catered order for lunch & breakfast for a bridal event and the staff made sure that everything was perfect for the event. The food was DELICIOUS. When we picked it up, it was hot, packed so thoughtfully, and the breakfast pastries platter was the best I have ever seen. I cannot say enough good things about this cafe - don't think twice about stopping in for a visit :)

Absolutely adore this coffee shop! I was not expecting the quality in their food and drinks, and was blown away by the vibe they were able to create in the space. A definite stop when in Carleton Place!

Great spot to pop in for a coffee and a snack. By far the best coffee in Carleton Place. Staff are friendly and welcoming. They have a courtyard to be enjoyed during the summer and a cute office space for rent.

Great quick meal. Tried the Plant Fueled sandwich...yum. I ruined hubby's experience by saying patty was vegan no meat😉🤣 Didn't take a snap of the sandwich but I did of the caramel capp.

What a lovely little coffee shop. Their capuccino proved to me I am doing something wrong, and the breakfast was excellent. Staff was very personable.

Absolutely beautiful coffee shop. Great coffee, delicious pastries and snacks, and phenomenal service. They had a few gluten-free baked goods. It would be nice to see some vegan additions to the baked goods. (Other reviews mention vegan options, but I didn't see anything? Or it wasn't obviously labeled?) Overall, it is a fantastic addition to Carleton Place. We will definitely be back.

Love this new addition to Carleton Place. Great for working, socializing and a cute solo date. Their food is incredible, great coffee and lots of interesting items to purchase.

The attention to detail is truly commendable. Cozy seating areas, exposed bricks adorning the walls, and simple to read menu. Love love the vibe. It's modern and refreshing. The food and drinks are delish as well!! They accommodate dietary restrictions, which is always appreciated! Awesome customer service.

Keep up the great work!

This may now be my new favorite coffee shop. The dill pickle soup was excellent and coffee was perfect. We will be back.
