Essential Auto Service

Essential Auto was very helpful to get my steering issue resolved right away. They took care of my car within a few days and didn't charge me for the diagnostics because I ended up scrapping it. I understood that this was the last time that I might see my vehicle and had the foresight to empty the car before towing it to the only Suzuki dealer in the area. They referred my to Logel's who was also very understanding to my situation. Great service all around!

I have brought my car in for service twice now and have been incredibly pleased and impressed with the quality of care and service provided. The inspections and reports are detailed and informative, and their pricing was very reasonable. They have provided great service and will be my shop of choice moving forward!

Having just moved back to the area after several decades l lucked out after finding these guys on Google after having problems with my car. Will was very good with explaining what the issues were. Because it's an old car l had to wait almost a week for a used part to be delivered but the service was quick and reliable when they were able to obtain it and less than the original estimate. Very pleased.

For the past few years I have been dealing directly with dealerships. Essential is a great service team! My experience was professional, their customer communication exceeded my expectations! Well done. I'll return!

We had an intermittent noise from the rear of our vehicle for several months. On two occasions in the past year the clunking sound was silent on arrival to fix it so Essential auto couldn't do it.
A week ago I dropped in while it was active and they recognized it as a "Toyota Drum clunk", a not infrequent occurring condition.
Today they fixed it in minutes with a brake adjustment... and much to my surprise did not charge for the fix!!!
Let's call it an Essential YAH! .... A much appreciated gesture which goes along with the excellent service we've had since moving to Waterloo over 20 years ago.

I highly recommend the team at Essential Auto Service! They have been taking care of our vehicles for years and now our son takes his car to them, too. I really appreciate the thorough report they provide which lays out any issues my vehicle has and if it’s urgent, or needs attention soon, etc.

I needed a safety inspection ASAP. Essential Auto was the only place i called that was able to do it in a couple of days (not weeks). Their facility is exceptionally bright, clean, and modern. The car needed some work, and Essential went above and beyond to complete the work the same day, even waiting for me to pick up the car after closing time.

A detailed report (with pictures) is sent to you by email highlighting work that needs attention. I have an older car now and the staff was very patient walking me through what absolutely needs to be done and what is more optional. As always, I was very happy with the customer service.

I had my vehicle inspected because the acceleration was uncomfortable and there was an occasional knocking noise. After a comprehensive inspection of my automobile, I received a report explaining the services that were being performed as asked and the urgent care that was necessary. This was the second auto repair facility i visited, and Essential Auto Service was the one that gave me a comprehensive explanation of what the problem was and provided me with images so I could see it for myself. Excellent customer service, fair cost. I would without a doubt recommend Essential Auto Service to anyone who values quality for their money!

Had my tires chgd to seasonal .It's convenient I can store my winter tires at their shop. Had my scheduled oil change.
As always, great service and work is done in timely manner. That's why I will drive a little further to get such quality service.

I really appreciate how the staff at Essential Auto really go out of their ways for their customers.
I was in a time crunch to get my winter tires switched to summer before I left to Florida.
They were fully booked but they found a way to squeeze my service in.

It was a pleasure to have my Buick Enclave repaired at Essential Auto Service. The staff was kind and very knowledgeable and had my car servicef about three hours earlier that was expected. I will be happy to deal with this company again.
