Met and chatted with Albert, he talked me through the history of the “espresso roast” he uses and clearly has a passion for coffee. He made me an off-menu request (cortado/piccolo), I described it imperfectly and when I sipped it I flinched a bit from the temperature and he was extremely generous about adjusting the drink. Good coffee, great experience.

Albert and MorningStar are really a hidden gem on the Westshore. Super knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly, I literally had to stop him from hooking me up with some free coffee beans so he could help another customer. He sold me a bag of light roast dry fermented rare Ethiopian Wush Wush at cost; I don’t really like light roast espresso (I know, heresy) but I could literally taste the blackberry notes this morning. Outstanding! Had to buy two bags of coffee and an espresso.

Best iced carmel macchiato! Nice, sweet, and creamy! Also, the nitro cold brew is delicious and smooth.

First time stopping for a coffee. Albert was friendly, and knowledgeable about his product. He took the time to share the background about the beans in my selection of coffee beans. Another nice coffee spot to add to my list of local coffee stops. Thank you!

I am always looking for the best iced americano and this one is by far the best I have had on the island, also tried the iced tea which was absolutly stellar !!

Tried this place for the first time today while in the area. Even though he had forgotten to brew up some regular coffee due to how hot it was and everyone get cold brew and iced coffee, he whipped me up a cup in a few minutes. It was amazing coffee, and I could tell just how much knowledge he had of his products too. Can't wait to go back.

I love visiting Albert at the station and ordering my favourite bean to take home; his Finca V&G. It is amazing! This man knows his coffee. Albert provided me a sample of a blended mix for the winter season called, for now, “Jolt”. I think it should be called “Santa’s Overdrive”. It is very very tasty. I pulled a 21g basket on my GCP and the shot was sweet and complex, with deep rich fruit notes that burst with a warm cherry and caramel finish. Yum!! When Albert starts selling this I will be buying extra to store in my freezer. Yah, that good. 👍🏻

My daughter gets her milk and I get my vanilla latte. We love coming here for our morning routine. We highly recommend it as we keep coming every day for the great service and delicious drinks.
