Breka Bakery & Café - Davie

Just the best place in downtown Vancouver!! So much variety in sweet and savoury, cozy fun cafe. Tried their pistachio donut and coconut mango mousse. Both were super delicious! It’s one of the go to places where you get good food and peace of mind. It sounds expensive but it’s quite affordable.

You better come early because this place is very popular and it gets very crowded by eight with lineups to the door. We were in Vancouver four days and went every morning. The cuppacino and Americano Misto are great. We really liked so much here but I can recommend the lemon poppy seed muffin, the blueberry scone and the chia seed pudding cup. I guarantee you are going to love this place.

Came here based on a recommendation online and it was better than expected. I ordered the eclair and in my opinion it was probably the second best eclair I’ve ever had. So good I went to another breka bakery later in the day just so I could have another one of their eclairs. Would most certainly come back again

Ate breakfast here two days in a row, ordered a breakfast sandwich, parfait, earl grey cream puff and the favorite was the Horchata Oat Latte!!! The Horchata Oat Latte was to die for. Several options for deserts, lunch, snacks and the service is excellent, all kind and respectful.

Found Breka - and so happy we did!!! Searched them up on the first morning of our trip and then made it a morning routine every day that week! Great coffee and great selection of so many delicious sandwiches and treats. The staff works so hard and they really are great at their craft!

A fantastic bakery open 24/7! We were impressed by the quality and mastery of some of their pastries. Their breads are also really delicious if you are looking for something more substantial to take home.

Pastries cakes are fabulous. Food looked good. I only bought pastries. This was my 1st visit at a Breka. My experience was great! Place was very busy. Seating was full. I got in line bought 4 cakes and was out the door inn10 mins. Service was freindly, fast. Personally I look for more atmosphere in a coffee shop if I'm going to sit and have coffee awhile. But I'll be back. Great place!

Cute environment and delicious pastries. Drinks are made quick and well, and prices are mid but portions are big. Their medium drink size is an xl in my opinion. Almond croissant was delicious, a little too bitter, and the passion fruit tart was 💯

Solid food options! Whether in the mood for sweet or savoury, this place has your back.
Their drinks were equally great and we were fortunate to find a place to sit.
Staff were friendly and happy to provide useful recommendations.
I would love more time to try more things, like their donuts, which looked terrific

Any time you go, the place is packed. Good pastry and dessert, not crazy about the coffee, not a coffee person anyway. The chocolate cake was very rich, love the lemon moose, me and my husband fought for it, he usually prefer the chocolate cake.

I'm not typically a huge fan of mousse cake, but I must admit that their Chocolate Kahlua Mousse Cake is absolutely divine – I simply can't get enough of it! Additionally, their Mango Mousse Cake is bursting with flavor. Recently, I decided to get it for my friend's birthday celebration, and she was delighted with the choice. The richness of the chocolate combined with the smoothness of the Kahlua creates a heavenly indulgence, while the vibrant taste of the mango adds a refreshing twist to the dessert experience. It's safe to say that these mousse cakes have won me over, and I'll definitely be returning for more delightful treats in the future.

Super yummy caramel cakes😋. I ordered green tea with a caramel macchiato crunch, which was yummy. They're all fresh, and the prices are reasonable. Recommended for meet-ups and friendly conversation meetings.👍🏻

Just bought breakfast a couple of minutes ago, and oh my! It's so good, also the price is great for the portion of food that you get.
I got the large iced moka and the steak and cheese panini only for 20 bucks!! (Tip included!) I could barely finish the panini bc it's huge, lol. (If you go to Starbucks, you almost end up paying the same amount for less food for sure)

The only downside is that it's always busy, but if you're not in a rush, I definitely recommend giving it a try👌

Whenever we decide to come back to Vancouver, we are definitely coming back to this place. Who doesn’t love dessert? This place has so many wonderful desserts, sandwiches, coffees, smoothies and freshly baked bread. It does get pretty busy and crowded, but the line goes pretty fast. It sure is worth it though. Lots to choose from and you can get those sandwiches in the display heated and panini pressed. There aren’t that many seats available, so it’s best to take to go. And the only parking available is street parking. There are a lot of staff behind the counter and are very efficient and friendly. They get the line going much smoother. Recommended!

The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. Store is clean. This place is fantastic. My only problem is that I love the apple-pistachio strudel and I can’t make myself choose other treats. However the rest of my family has all tried other things and assures me that everything is good.

Breka Bakery do a great selection of cakes, tortes, strudels, donuts, cookies plus loaves, breads and sandwiches.

For our drinks we chose a flat white coffee and a berrylicious smoothie. Both were amazing.

We also had an almond and chocolate croissant. One word...delicious!

Pastries are so, so good! You could eat here everyday for a week and still have a long list of things you want to try. Clean, cozy, fast and affordable with some of the best pastries you'll find anywhere. I'm definitely going back

My husband and I were in Vancouver for a quick visit and fell in love with this cafe. Bring a location to Toronto please! It would be a hit. Everything from the coffee, pastries to soup and sandwiches were fabulous. Service is fast and price is reasonable. We shall miss this place!
