Service Access to Recovery

Wow! A one star average. Please remember folks that this an institution, and that the people working here are doing their best. I’ve been able to access services, albeit wait for them, but still helpful. I’d be dead without them.

You have to do two phone appointments to get on the wait list for any addictions services. Once complete the first one they schedule the 2nd one (the longer one) where they actually put you on the wait lists to the places you want but the 2nd appts are booking anywhere from 2-4 months down the road. If you miss their call at the schrduled date+ time (several months down the road) you can call them back leave a message and wait for them to call you back to reschedule the 2nd appointment but you won't get another appt for another several months. They should realize that not everyone is reachable or going to remember 3 months down the road what day & time they're going to call to do the 2nd appt. So 8f you don't get both appointments done (3 months apart from eachother) your out of luck to get on any wait list for treatment. They should do both appointments together -when the client is calling for help. Both myself and several of peers have completed the QST appt but were never able to get the 2nd one done. Not accessible for people who dont have phone, live a chaotic life, are in survival mode (which must people with severe addiction are) so don't get the 2nd call done or are no longer in the same headspace of looking for treatment. They should make the process more accessible for people when they need the help.

They never EVER call back. Worst ever people/place if you need help and are literally begging for help over and over. Even if you're in tears crying on the phone saying how bad you need someone to call you back, don't count on them. I'd give them a negative 1 star.
