Denny's Restaurant

The vibe of this Denny’s is very nice. Bathrooms are very clean and nice. The dessert was scrumptious! Our waiter Damika was very kind!

I wasn’t too far away from the area. That day on July 31, I was waiting in the MRI area at vgh. A advertisement popped up on my instagram about $4.99 grand slams for that day only. Perfect!

Did you know the Grand Slam is named in honour of Hank Aaron? And there was a time when many Denny’s locations didn’t have door locks on them, because they were 24 hours? Anyhow. Plenty of parking in the back building. Just park and go upstairs. Let the hostess know and scan the bar code to validate your parking. Easy peasy.

We didn’t have to wait too long since we opted for a bar seating. Waiter asked if we were here for the grand slam special. All proceeds go to support qmunity. With big smiles on our faces and the olympics on the screen, it was a real feel good moment 😬.
I haven’t been to this location since 2010 when Vancouver hosted the olympics. It’s amazing how time passes so quickly…

Plates arrived and as expected looks consistent. My only critique is that a cup of coffee is $3.79 now. Other than that, it was a great start to the day.

Since we were in the bar we noticed a wing and beer special on Thursdays. They also do karaoke Thursday nights. Think I’ll pop by again and get my bon jovi on 😬🍺

Definitely wrote few reviews about their food, about their service, about their environment and about atmosphere - don't want to repeat but in general everything is good. I want to mention washroom exactly in this particular place - it looks better than many of my friends living rooms, thank you guys that still care about washrooms and style and decorations in general.

Wonderful/Horrible news: as North Vancouver 50 years branch got closed - horrible news, they will make this place original Denny's again - as some balance.

Love the test kitchen idea, get a chance to try out different new items. Have always been here since 2015 (used to work across the street).

Service and food quality always on par, reasonable pricing, super friendly and efficient staff.

Dining environment is clean, background music is not too loud.

Actually better Denny than other locations.

The Denny’s test kitchen is very spacious inside and modern. Friendly staff and with clean interior a large patio space. The service was a bit slow, it could have been that it was a Monday.

This Denny’s location has menu items that are not available at other locations. It’s fun to try the menu items that are not at the other locations.

I would recommend the Denny’s test kitchen for your next breakfast outing!

Beautiful restaurant, great food, timely and attentive service that wasn't smothering. Open late and quality is not sacrificed despite nocturnal dining times. 10/10 would recommend. And this is to say nothing of the incredible value of the menu items.

I came here because I had some meetings around and wanted a quick bite. The place is absolutely spotless and the bathrooms as well which is always a plus. The lovely lady that took my order was so sweet and kind. The food was amazing. Fresh sandwich and crunchy fries. Thanks guys

Our server Victoria was amazing! She recommended us good drinks that we enjoyed a lot. We ordered T-bone and lasagna, and we loved it. The place has plenty of room, cleaned and the service was fast. I recommend to put music to improve the environment.

Today me and my girlfriend dined in for breakfast and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had with dennys. I got the Poutine BBQ Brisket as it was one of their TK specials + newly added item and I am not a super big poutine guy but this poutine was rly good. I also had pancakes and my girlfriend had the eggs benedict! It was great, the only thing I would say is my side of mac and cheese tasted a bit too artificial of cheese, but by far my best dennys experience.

Good location with free parking for guests. Had a group of 5, were served by Victoria. Good experience and tasty food. Thank you!

Fantastic experience, the place was sooo modern! I love Denny's old school feeling but it's no biggie haha!

The modern feel made the experience feel great, breakfast after 2pm is always badass in my books, amazing food milkshakes and service.

I tried the Sweet Cream chilled coffee also and loved it! Had a veggie omelette and it was sooo flavourful, ingredients were fresh and our waiter made sure we were looked after the entire time. Highly recommend!

Fantastic food, the staff were friendly and so kind (we have two toddlers and they were so patient and understanding). Professional and efficient service. Great food options and quality. We would highly recommend this location.

I had an incredible dining experience at Denny's test kitchen! I tried their Alaska fish and chips, and it was out of this world. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. The accompanying chips were also delicious, and the portion size was generous. But the real star of the show was the cookie skillet dessert. It arrived warm and gooey, with a scoop of ice cream on top, creating a heavenly combination of flavors and textures. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their innovative dishes. Highly recommended!

An overall very good experience, the place is very nice with good washrooms. The food was also good and the burger was quite large compared to some others like White Spot. Also it is cool that you can review your food afterwards.

God was with us in the corner booth tonight thanks to the fine quality dining experience provided to us by the staff. Excellent 10pm breakfast location. Generously let us dine with our beloved power generator (pictured). No better way to catch the thursday night game

I have been a customer for a year now, I am the happiest ordering pancakes. This time I took the risk of ordering something different like wings and I was amazed. What improved my experience was the attention of the servers, especially Victoria, who always cares about giving the customer the best culinary experience. Thank you all for this good moment.

Came here for the first time a couple of days ago with my husband and our son. Very pleased with the service and cleanliness of the restaurant. The food was also amazing. I got the bacon avocado burger. I'm not a huge fan of burgers but decided to try this one and was blown away!! My husband was also very pleased with his food as well and so was our son. Will definitely be coming back!!
