Great service and very knowledgeable team.
Greeted by staff immediately. Lots of options of Cameras, Lens, Accessories and much much more - not just a camera store. Great place to shop - hobby or professional photography. Had chance to attend one of their workshop last year - very informative and great tips. Thank you Ara for taking time to explain different types of cameras and their benefits.

Excellent service! U.s visa picture was fast and the person there can speak English/ Spanish which is good. There is a kid table for kids cameras, services, and a lot more. Prices are good!! Nice place to go if you like photography or if you need any service with the Henry’s experience.

The great thing about going to a real life camera store like Henry’s is that they let you touch the cameras and pick them up and shoot them so you can see how the camera feels in your hands.  Which is essential for getting to know how the camera operates before you buy it.

Which leads to the next great thing about Henry's…the service.  They have knowledgeable staff who actually like photography and video and they want to show you all the gear in the store.  It's hard to find this kind of service at a big box electronics store, or an online store where you can only look at pictures.

I was at Henry's because I wanted to buy a Sony ZV-1F or a ZV-1MKII.  I wasn't sure which was better but I came here because Henry's has a wide variety of gear for videographers.  A nice salesman, named Chris, let me shoot both cameras.  They were both great cameras but I chose the ZV-1F because it was half the price and it was a good way to enter the Sony family of ZV vlogging cameras.

Sony is the only major camera company who is trying to serve the vlogging community.  Other camera companies have tried but Sony has done the most innovation in this camera niche.  Just simple things like providing a wind muff for the built in microphone is a big deal for improving the audio quality and Sony has one on all of its ZV vlog cameras.

I suspect that vlogging is a bigger market than most people think and it's nice to see that Sony is giving it some love.  There are five cameras in the ZV series and more on the way.  I admire what Sony is trying to do and I look forward to their next iteration in the series.

Ken is another salesman at Henry's who helped me on another visit when I was looking for filters and he was very kind and knowledgeable too.  On that trip to the store I found a Sennheiser XS lav mic that I didn't know I needed...until I googled the reviews on it and found out that it was a good one so I went back to Henry’s and bought it.

The store itself is conveniently located near the Broadway-City Hall train station, so it's relatively easy to get to with public transit.  If you want to spend the day camera shopping, you're in luck because this is the right part of town to do it.  West of Henry’s there are two other camera stores and east of Henry's there are two more camera stores.  Having several camera stores in one neighborhood provides more choice for consumers, creates a stronger camera community, and makes it a lot easier to find what you're looking for.

Also, if you’re an introverted artist with anxiety issues and you’d like to check out Henry's without leaving the safety of your home…you're in luck again because Henry's also has a great website.  Most camera stores don't give their websites much love.  They’re poorly designed, the products are out of date  and the whole experience gives a bad first impression.  But fortunately Henry's has a great website.  It's simple, attractive, well designed, loads fast, even has a blog, and most importantly it has lots of audio/video gear for aspiring filmmakers.  It's a great way to start your relationship with Henry's.

I had an awesome experience at this camera store! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, helping me find exactly what I needed. The selection of cameras and accessories is impressive, with options for every budget and skill level. The entire process, from browsing to purchase, was smooth and enjoyable. Ara helped me today with deciding on what camera body I should choose for the work I will it be needing it for. I’ve researched all the brands, features, functionality and sensors and still I was stuck trying to figure out what I needed. I really appreciate the time Ara spent listening to my long winded story of what I plan to do, the patience showed that she was really listening. Outstanding knowledge, really made me feel confident in the selection of lenses and camera bodies.

I came into the store looking for a lens for my canon rebel. They have a ton of new and used options to chose from. The guy who was helping me out Marco, helped me try out a ton of the lenses to find the right fit. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about the products and it made my experience easy. Definitely would recommend to a friend and if your looking for anything camera related this is the place.

Ahmed was very helpful in assisting me with picking a flash for my camera. Since I don’t have any experience with flashes, he provided a detailed explanation of the different options available. He also helped with other questions we had. This was our first time visiting the store, and the staff were definitely knowledgeable.

We visited the Vancouver (West Broadway) location to print our wedding stationary and were instantly welcomed by super friendly staff. Ahmed in particular was extremely helpful from the second I walked through the door, helping me troubleshoot everything from user errors with the computer to photo sizing issues. He also hand-cut the place cards for me when I know that's not a normal service they provide.

Ahmed went above and beyond to accommodate us and help in every way possible, and all of the staff were really friendly and helped create a pleasant experience when I fully expected it to be stressful. Really happy we visited this location!

Lived up to expectations!

Came into the shop earlier this week as I had damaged the lens on my Nikon D90 camera. The staff informed me that lens repair was not one of their offered services. Nevertheless, they were happy to inspect the lens, assess the damage and provide some general guidance on how to get it fixed.

I handed the lens over to a staff member for a brief assessment who – within 5 minutes and free of charge (!) – was able to repair the physical damage on the lens.

Although I am relatively new to the world of photography myself, it was not hard to tell that I was dealing with true professionals. Everyone on the team I had the pleasure of interacting with was kind, courteous, sincere and quick to offer help.

Very grateful for the service provided and thank you again to the wonderful team.

I would recommend Henry's to anybody with a camera or even those just looking to get involved in photography – any day of the week!

Aly and Ryan helped me immense amounts today when i had an issue with my camera! They helped figure out what part of my camera wasn’t working and gave me many different options on how i could resolve the issue while keeping my budget in mind! Great place for passport photos! I had my picture taken at London Drugs day prior & was very disappointed with how shadowy & morose I looked. Came to Henry's Cameras hoping for a better result. They delivered in spades! Much better lighting, picture quality & results. I am thrilled! Thank you so much!

Yesterday (July 25/2024) I went to Henry's to use a promotional coupon code I had. Upon entering the store I was immediately greeted by Ahmed. I was very pleased by his and his team's customer service. Ahmed was knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. It's rare to receive this level of customer service nowadays, and I think he deserves recognition for his amazing work. Thank you to the team at Henry's. While I'm not a "loyal" Henry's customer, this type of service encouraged me to make an effort to return and give them my business.

Great service and helpful staff! Aly in particular made my day, they helped me trade in a camera I wasn't using and then let me try some lenses to see what I wanted to use my credit towards. They were friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy at all.

Henry’s is now my go to for photography gear. I switched from Nikon to Sony and love going to Henry’s to check out all the lenses.

Their staff is always helpful and friendly, they price match with other stores, and they have an excellent selection of bags and other things like tripods, gimbals and lighting.

They also recently added a free podcasting studio you can book!

We went to the Broadway location today. I was interested in a used Canon camera I had researched online and knew was in stock at this store. We were greeted right away by Ahmed who proceeded to help us with the purchase as well as the trade of a couple lenses I brought with me.
Ahmed was super friendly and knowledgeable in the Canon system and gave some good tips for future upgrades. I’m so happy we made the trip from the Valley today and with the camera purchase.

Straight out of the bat this is my absolute favourite place to shop. From staff to service everything is this store is perfect. Ahmed is an absolute gem. I have shopped a few times at the Vancouver location. I think the store itself is great. Very roomy and each brand has its own display stand which is nice. I recently bought a camera from Ahmed. He was very informative, and gave me comparison specs between two cameras I was considering. He knew those cameras like the back of his hand. I was very happy with his service and am confident that the camera I bought is the right one for me.
