I saw the line up when we passed and so we had to stop on the way back to Montreal. !! The curds squeaked!!! We all know that means a super poutine. I wish I could have another all dressed steamie now! They do take credit cards and it seems always busy. What a total treasure to find in a remote town!

Amazing. Best poutine I’ve ever had. Crunchy fries with a hint of sweetness (due to the potato type), tasty gravy, yummy curds. What more could you ask for.

For a side of the road poutine and ice cream shop... this is the place to go. It’s all the Quebec classics the way they are meant to be. The fries are always perfect, the pogos crispy, what more can you ask for. They have bathroom facilities and some tables outside. There is a wind protected area but no indoor seating. Expect a line up on any nice day. I believe they close in winter.

Nice stop on a drive. Food was good hamburger all dressed and fries drink $12

Such a nice place. Plenty of picnic tables and a play area for the kids. The hamburger was hot and juicy. Delicious 😋 fries are hot, fresh, and plenty. Highly suggest this place.

I have been eating poutines here since I was a kid and I am never disappointed. One of the best poutines in the area.

Classic casse-croûte, you get an absolute boatload of fries, poutine is perfect, and hot dogs are pretty good. Outdoor seating only.

Ordered a medium sized French fry. Which Came in a large square box. Not complaining, absolutely delicious, not greasy, and lots more to enjoy😋

Consistent food and amazing poutine and hot dogs! The prices are slightly high for the food portions, but it's a nice treat sometimes. The gravy and cheese ratio is perfect - but some might find there's too much gravy on the poutine. This chip stand doesn't really upset my stomach.

I have been to Joe Patate many times this summer. I always have the poutine and a hot dog. The food is excellent !!! It is the best poutine i have ever had ! A must try restaurant. And the lady that takes the orders is so nice and always has a smile on ! Love this place ! And they also have cones for $1.

I can't say anything bad about this place, we had the burger, hotdog, poutine, onions rings and fries! Delicious! I think it's a bit over priced but the food was good!

My family has stopped here on our way to tremblant at minimum once a year for almost 30 years! It is our favourite junk food stop, and has become a favourite part of vacation.

If you can stop here, do it! You won't be disappointed.
