Rexall Drugstore

Wild. Visiting this location at least once a week, I have never ran into any problems with it’s the staff. Mind you I have never used this pharmacy but I have seen on 2 separate occasions big kerfuffles across the dispensing counter.

I went in to purchase a particular item that ended up being mis-priced and when o arrived at the cash the gentleman honoured the price we saw on the shelf. Very kind. Yet Noticeably strange was the fact that there was no music playing. I cannot tell you that every merchant I bet it has music but it’s absence at this location seems noticeable.
Overall staff are friendly and want to be helpful. It’s a cosy location surrounded by a fantastic community. Maybe more staff needed??!!
If you’re looking for Epson salts for your bath, tooth brushes, discounted candy, and a little bit of quiet as no music can interrupt your thoughts, you come through a place.!

The Rexall Drugstore is located in the Heron Gate Square on 1725 Walkley Road. This store has a pharmacy, cosmetics, health care items, frozen food, toilet paper and a Canada Post outlet office. The staff are friendly and the store is clean. I like to pop into this store mostly for its postal outlet services. It is convenient and service is excellent. They also have weekly specials on things like toilet paper, detergent etc. where their prices are even cheaper than neighboring grocery stores. To get these deals you need to look at Rexall coupon fliers. It is not a huge amount, but every saved nickel helps.
This Rexall also provides good vaccination services like for covid. Lets all get vaccinated to help our world to return back to as normal as life can be.

The staff is the most helpful and friendly that I Have ever encountered in a pharmacy.

The pharmacy staff are absolutely amazing. Friendly, courteous and attentive. The nurse that does the injections is one of the best I've encountered and I've seen a few.
As for the store they have a great selection of products and its very well laid out.

June at the post office was amazing! She helped me understand my options and was very professional, helpful and patient! I’ll definitely come back for the great service!

Post office May 26th: I’m just writing a review for the sweet lady that was working at the post office who was yelled at by two women because you were “ too slow” they were so disrespectful and horrible. The whole store were on your side and as a POC myself please DONT take their “ racism card” Seriously. All you did was work you aren’t a robot. Props to the whole rexall staff for standing up for you.

I highly recommend the Rexall Drugstore on Walkley Rd. Previously, I did business with one their competitors and was sorely disappointed and frustrated with the service I received. Rexall on Walkley is friendly, professional and very helpful with the service they've provided me over the previous year. They even have a drive-thru pick-up window that's very convenient!

I LOVE this location I choose this one mostly for the staff! I am just as close to the Elmvale location but choose this one for that reason. They are happy and helpful. I always deal with the same person at the Canada Post and he's lovely and we banter about how I see him too much (because my online shopping packages will go there). I think some of the negative reviews about this I particular is more the outlook they have and not the staff.

As for the pharmacy .... I have to agree with the negative comments ... I got terrible advice from a pharmacist on the phone ... I called for advice regarding a reaction to a medication and luckily I know enough about medicine to know what the pharmacist told me was so wrong ... I said thank you and called elsewhere for more information ...

Post office girl don’t worry those two woman today had the most disgusting attitudes. I can’t believe in 2023 people could treat customer service workers this way. Shame on you ladies if you are reading this. Disgrace of humanity

I was just at this store Sunday August 2, 2015 and got there at 4:50pm.
Had to pick up a prescription and had ordered it by phone and was supposed to be ready after 3pm.
Could not get to the store before 4:50 and was there a few minutes before that I'm sure.
The staff refused to let anyone in the store and told me the pharmacist was not here,so I could not pick up my prescription.
There was also a lady with a baby in a stroller that needed to pick something up for her child and she was not very pleased the store decided to close earlier.
In total there was four (4) people I saw who were trying to get things at the store and were turned away.

I was actually somewhat dehydrated and was quite out of breath,yet the store would not let me pick up my prescription for my inhaler.
The store is supposed to be open Aug 3rd,but I am sure there will be NO PHARMACIST,SO NO PRESCRIPTION PICK UP OR FILLING ON MONDAYS.

If you want a reliable drug store Shoppers and Walmart are always open until 9pm.
I will be transferring all my prescriptions to a different drug store chain,as this store is very unreliable.

Also, the post office at this location, they misplace parcels often and they get sent back.
The post office here also seems to sent out pick up notices for items they can not find.
This has happened to me at least 5 times this year.

I thought when this store moved that the service would be improved and it seems a lot of the staff just hate the customers and their job.
The pharmacy at Walmart is always open till 10 or 11pm Sundays and Shoppers at Bank and Walkley or Heron is always open late.
So, if you really need a prescription on a Sunday go to another chain. I doubt there was even a pharmacist there today.
And on long weekends and holidays,they can not fill any prescriptions or let you pick them up at this location.

My favourite store is the walkley and heron store. Nadia is my cosmetician, she is very knowledgeable in makeup, she is always helpful in helping me choose the right cosmetics for me. Thank you Nadia for all your help!

I like this location. They are good with Covid regulations, the staff are friendly. The store has a good flow, never feels overcrowded. The Be Well app is really good too.

Great customer service. I was greeted by a professional pharmacist. Although, she looked tired, her passion of helping me as a patient was truly inspiring.

Really like the pharmacists.

I was there today (14 Oct 15) and both employees I talked to were awesome. No complaint at all.
