Great grocery store with plenty of ready made food items. I was pleasantly surprised at all the options they had at this place, from sushi, burrito, sandwiches, salads, pizza, burgers and many more! It really is a one stop shop when it comes to food. I usually go for their cheese stuffed crust veggie pizza. The toppings are fresh and the pizza slice is quite filling. Glad Le Marché Wakim is nearby to grab a bite for lunch. Merci!

Just discovered Marché Wakim today and the owner was very friendly! He gave my friend and I a tour of the store and explained all the food and the fresh ingredients that are used to make them. We tried a Matcha and London Fog and they were absolutely delicious. The sandwiches were so flavourful and the bread was so fresh it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The prices are very reasonable, and I will definitely be back. I love the selection of so many different types of food (sushi, smoothies, protein shakes, assorted platters, sausages, fresh bread, etc!) It is such a great one stop shop for anything you could need :)

It's my favorite grocery in Gatineau. Carefully selected assortment, lots of unique brands, European quality produce, friendly service, and always fresh (made to go) sandwiches, pastries, and coffee. ☕

It was very refreshing to meet the actual owner of this specialty food store. My sister and i had delicious lattes prepared and served by Mr. Wakim himself yesterday. A lovely shopping experience with nice variety of ready to eat foods. Wonderful experience overall and too bad not many more like this!

Really nice produce. Nice selection of meats and cheeses. Maybe the best selection of sausages and as far as I can tell, they are all delicious. You're not going to find any "deals" here, but you get what you pay for and everything is of high quality.

Love the entire place! I'm a regular and the staff always recognize me and serve me my favorite made on the spot. Also the only store in the whole city to have the best Brandt Spicy Hungarian Salami,with is the BEST. 👌

Great place to find local gems! Had the best selection of cheeses, seafood and meats along with some specialty grocery items. The bakery was filled with options feom sweet to savory to everyday staples

I love the selection in this store! It's very different from anything else in Hull-Aylmer. From what I've seen, Mr. Wakim himself is very friendly and says Hello whenever I walk by him in the store. My two favourite sections are the Sushi Counter (with the two kindest chefs on Earth, they always cheer me up), and the Coffee counter (try the beurre praliné latte if you like sweet), which has non-dairy options, and the best gluten-free sweets ever. The butcher's counter is also amazing in this store. Lots of fresh veggies and European products, as well as a nice pastry area are on the other side of the store! It's a little on the $ side but they have the FreeBees program which helps offset it a lot. I would recommend!

The vegetarian sushi is fantastic, and they have an amazing selection of really good meats. I would especially recommend the sausages! Great store!

Great place to shop - think of Farm Boy but in Gatineau. Great quality produce surrounded by small niche sellers - bakery (a real one and not a reheat and sell) and all the best meat and fish
