Épicerie Henderson's Grocery

Great little country store. I was very pleased with the large variety of stock on hand. They have a variety of fresh veggies and fruit. The best part is the freshly baked bread every day. I bought a couple of loaves and I was not disappointed. Prices are higher but typical of small villages. I suggest stopping in and looking around.I'll be back.

I moved to Lancaster and, at first glance, thought that prices were high...but not really so for small store in a small town. Being a Senior on fixed income who does not drive, I buy only what is necessary. The Owners and Staff are great and I see no sign of showing "favor" to their wealthier customers. I feel comfortable shopping here.

Always a pleasure to shop there everything you need and a fantastic variety of items that you can't find anywhere else. Plus fresh bakery 😋

A great local grocery store that carries a broad selection of items and has a butcher shop as well.

First time shoppers today and we will be back! We tried the cinnamon raisin bread, pull-apart garlic bread, and apple tarts from the bakery, and pork sausages from the butcher. Everything was great. The store is spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. 5 stars!

Very friendly starting from the top of ownership to managers and all staff members. New to town and am very impressed. Wish they were open on sunday but I completely understand the reasoning. Top shelf establishment. Text book on how a small town grocery should be.

It's great to shop where everybody is always friendly, happy and helpful. The selection is amazing. Local butcher is always accommodating. Prices are surprisingly competitive and fair for a local grocer.

This store has a lot of items that are hard to find anywhere else. It also has a bakery which is a huge bonus, I love the garlic bread they make. Their garden center is also open at this time and has plenty of lovely flowers and plants available!

I love this store! I hesitate to rave about how wonderful their bakery section is, I don't eat them to sell out of my favorites lol! Always very pleased with the quality of products available and the friendly staff. 😀

Perfect little grocery store! It’s got everything: fresh produce, freshly baked breads and pastries, ready-made meals and sandwiches and anything else you might need. And the young lady behind the toll was refreshingly polite and friendly. Don’t find those too often nowadays!

I'm a 4th generation farmer in this community. My mom shopped for groceries here when I was a toddler 45 years ago. We've seen owners and managers come and go. It was always difficult and in decline. These folks reversed that and then some. They've made main street into the jewel it once was against all odds, with hard work, dedication, and commitment. Shop here. They've earned our patronage!

Was parked at the Flying J truckstop and asked the cashier if there was a grocery store nearby. She sent me here and as soon as I entered the owner or manager(?) asked me if I was a trucker and then showed me their selection of cooked on site meals! Great food and found all I needed in store to last a few days on the road! Will be stopping here again in the future for sure! 5min walk from the Flying J.

The best privately owned grocery store in the area! They provided ordering on line all spring during Cob 19 lockdown and always with a smile even we all knew they had to be dead tired. And also a very good meat counter Try it ,U will be happy U Did!!!

Often drive 1 hour there. The specialty foods are amazing. Service is great
