Without a doubt the best record store in Ottawa. They have a very wide selection all at reasonable prices, and often carry albums you'd have a hard time finding anywhere else. Also they take part in Record Store Day Canada, so give them some business in April if you're looking for limited pressings. The staff is very kind and helpful as well, and I've talked about artists we have in common a number of times. This is the best place to go whether you have a thousand records in your collection or are just getting started.

Excellent variety of nee vinyl, including rareties and the semi-obscure. Helpful staff who mentioned upcoming releases based on what I brought to the cash.

Amazing selection of vinyls right from the glebe, surprised that they had a huge selection of CD’s and cassette tapes as well

Charming place that I will need to go regularly to see what is new in store! They have a huge selection, you are sure to find something new or to reconnect with old classics you love.
They were also able to direct me to someone in the city to fix my turntable from the 60s. Definitely a place worth stopping by!

Genuinely one of the greatest record stores I have ever been too. Their selection of music is just wild and I have found stuff here I thought I would never find without having to order online and at a crazy price. If you are a music lover you HAVE to check this place out I can not give it enough praise.

Update. Still the best place in Ottawa hands down. Everyone is helpful and kind. If you're new to the hobby great place to start covers tons of different genre plus no gate-keeping if you have questions

Great guys and great service. They know their stuff. Great used selection on CDs and Vinyl. Decent new selection too, and if they don't have what you are looking for, they'll try to get it for you.

Since the move, the store has been great and helpful to all local customers. Great location (careful with Glebe parking!) and always friendly faces.

RSD is managed well, and the stock is always fresh with new releases and harder to comeby genres. They are happy to look up orders and prices, if you ask. Finally, if you have a chance to stop by and dig, enjoy, as your may find a gem or three.

Ive always enjoyed my experience here! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the selection is always diverse and offers plenty of rarities. I love to order albums in and they have always taken care to bring them in for me . A solid institution, definitely recommended.

Main owner and his son are super nice, great to ask questions whether you are new to vinyl or a regular. Used prices are great and new prices are right where they should be. A great place to shop local.
