Worth the investment! Excellent team of specialists to advise and assist. High quality products and companies with real service. The spring in my squirrel proof feeder had worn out over time. I went into the Ottawa Bank Street store to ask how best to remedy the problem and they had a replacement part on hard that they showed me how to easily replace- worked like a charm, thank you!

I love this cute little shop! It's been in the neighbourhood for years, and I'm so glad it's still here.

I remember as a kid walking past with my mom or grandmother and peeking in the window to see all the odds and ends.

This was my 2nd visit, and it was just as lovely as before. Everyone is so friendly and you feel the genuine happiness to share info about the products.

I use one of the bird blends for my indoor Finches (with some added fruits and veggies) as well as outdoor, and it's a hit!

Today I decided to treat myself to a window feeder, and can't wait till I have the opportunity to get some seeds for it.

Will happily return to shop again. 🐦

Fantastic store. If you have a slightly higher budget it's well worth getting the better quality seed and accessories here. It should be noted that if you're on a budget, they have lots of adorable gifts and bird items that are great value, you just have to be savvy about what you can get on your budget.

I can't say enough good things about the staff, absolutely wonderful and always willing to lend a hand or just have a chat, even when you're a bit of an odd duck like I am! Best selection of bird related gifts I've seen as well, always leave the store with something new that I didn't intend to buy and I'm not even mad about it!

Great store with excellent staff. I usually order online and they know me well enough now to start bringing out the order, before I get to the desk. The products we usually buy - especially the Cranberry pepper wheels - are what our local birds want.

Excellent service, best store for bird products. Drive-up from Montreal area to get my bird food as they are mu preferred products by far.

We LOOOOOOOOVE Wild Bird! We mostly go to the one in Ottawa on Bank Street - by my Mom lives in Asheville, NC, so also go there when I'm visiting. Both stores are wonderful - full of all kinds of gifts for birds and squirrels - and humans. And the staff is a blast - so much fun and so knowledgable. We've been going to the one in Ottawa for almost 8 years - and the one in Asheville for three - and could not imagine going anywhere else.

My niece and I had the loveliest experience! Everyone was so helpful and happy. It was my first time at this location and I'll definitely be back!

Not a huge space but they utilize every inch! Huge selection of bird seeds and feeders. We spent about 30 minutes in here looking at everything. Staff were amazing, friendly but not over bearing. They let us browse but were available for any questions that we had.

I'm excited to come back and plan my ideal feeder set up!

Love this store. It's a feast for the eyes and senses with all things birds and the joy that they bring. I bought two really high quality bird houses there and bird seed, and was pleased to find Soul Socks!! If you haven't owned a pair of Soul Socks, I highly recommend you pick up pair :) An all around lovely store with very pleasant helpful staff. A fantastic store! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The seed is of excellent quality. Since switching to WBU seed, I have so many more birds visiting my feeders.

I'm from Quebec and my son who lives in Ottawa gave me a Hoot the Owl Seed Character and a great bird house.

Since putting the feeder my usual visitors and 3 new species have been going at it for a month🤩😍. It resisted super well to the rain storms we had.

I contacted them by phone for delivery info, winter capacity, how to preserve, estimate for 8 little guys etc

Great service from staff as well as owner Kendall. Ordered august 7th and received morning of the 9th. My birds will be happy. 🤩😍

Today was a very busy day in the store (Saturday, December 8th) but everyone was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable!!! My mom and I made some purchases for Christmas and plan on returning with my dad!! Never knew about the place till we saw a commercial on TV. Great advertising!!!

We first came to this store a couple of years ago to buy a squirrel guard for our bird feeding pole. We left the store with an Advanced Pole System (including squirrel guard) and have been adding on ever since.

The staff are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Wild Birds Unlimited is a chain well-established in the USA with a small presence in Canada. This store in the Blue Heron mall has the feel of a one-off, locally owned business.

You can probably get better prices online or at a big box store, but the products are well designed and the service is second to none. We go back on a regular basis.

I have been shopping in this store for about five years now and have enjoyed every occasion. The staff go out of their way not only to educate you in the ways of birding but they also insist on carrying everything you buy to your car for you. They are always extremely friendly and knowledgeable also I can honestly say I have never felt pushed to buy anything whatsoever! Recently I brought in a anti-squirrel peanut dispenser I bought there years ago that had stopped working. Much to my surprise they took it apart, put in new parts and never charged me a cent. I think that is a testament to the kind of business and people they are.

Super friendly staff on hand to provide useful advice. Prices are comparable to other big box stores, but so much nicer to be supporting a local business and enthusiastic community of bird lovers.

If you have questions about birds, bird feeders, food, etc ... THIS is the place to go.
People there are very knowledgeable and professional.
Prices are no more expensive than the big box stores. The feeders are actually a lot cheaper than Amazon.
We'll def. be going back.
