Pickens Hall & General Store

I love this store. It has so many practical and beautiful gifts and items for sale. The cheese curds are fresh and delicious. There are locally made items for sale. It is a favorite stop of mine.

It is also wonderful to drive here past so many quaint Amish farms. The local restaurant (I had breakfast at L.E.A.s) was really good too!!

Love this place. Eclectic gifts and general store items. Local artisans and Amish products/clothing. My favorite part was the safe in the closet that you could view and see the old candle marks on the wall from Pickens in the 1800s. So cool.

This store was so amazing! Real Amish goods, homemade treats as well as products from other vendors. Cool museum and event hall upstairs too!

Stopped in to get a gift card for a sweet couple who just married. The bride loved the card..I loved that it was made environmentally safe. Bought the happy couple some beautiful kitchen towels. Was surprised the store is full of new seasonal things for autumn/winter. I'll be back in a jif for some holiday gifts♡

A wonderful ole museum and store to visit and see what use to be back when. They also have unique confections that are pleasing to the taste buds along with locally made cheese curds and Amish made items for sale. A wonderful trip back in time.

This place has a lot of interesting products to look at that are locally made. Things like pepperoni, bbq sauce, honey, cheese, and candy. They also have candles, games, touristy shirts, quilts, knickknacks, pictures, and Amish furniture. Their cheese curds are restocked on Wednesdays around noon if you are looking for fresh curds. Give yourself some time to poke around if you plan on stopping in and like to shop!

Nice local store. Although they didn't have the shirt I wanted in my size, they had a lot of nice things like baskets, jewelry, jellies etc and I will be back to look again. Prices, I thought were reasonable. Would recommend a visit if in area.

Local artisans, Amish furniture, household items, cheeses, books, just like the revered general store. Hard to find paraphernalia great atmosphere and people. A jewel in the North Country.

We made a visit to the General Store. Absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back. The woman working there was very nice and made us feel welcome.

A plethora of gifts, big and small, fill the rooms of Pickens General Store. The store carries everything from specialty foods & cookie cutters to Amish baskets & cashmere scarves from Scotland.

A true North Country treasure. Great concerts. Great place to shop. An important part of our region's history. If you have not visited, make a New Year's resolution to come on by.

Awesome place. Best cheese curd in upstate New York. As well as great homemade bologna. Also if you have a sweet tooth, they make a ton of homemade chocolates. The people cant be beat.

Neat little store that featured a lot of wooden treasures. The variety was good and the prices were very reasonable. Certainly a stop for all treasure hunters! You'll find wonderful gifts for just about anyone.

The store is amazing with food, toys, furniture and local artists creations. Amish baskets in a huge variety of shapes and sizes line many shelves. The concerts and other shows are either free or have a nominal price. Concerts cover many genres including Christian, Country, to Jazz.

This place sells cheese and meats. Also sells everything you need to bake and cook. The gift shop is full of Americana. The staff is great. Not over bearing or judgemental.

A restored historic building hosting a old fashioned general store full of unique gifts and crafts including some made by the local Amish families. The third floor has a large auditorium with a stage and hosts frequent live events that are reasonably priced.
