Kim's Convenience

Ok, so yet another Aussie tourist seeks out this store for the novelty factor after enjoying the Kim's Convenience series on Netflix. Obviously only the external shots were filmed here but you could see the influence of the interior too. The real 'Mrs Kim' who works there was very friendly and not bothered by our questions and photo taking (so long as you take photos of the shop without her in it). Thankyou for being a good sport. "okay, seeyou!!"

Huge fan of the show and seeing the store in person was so cool! It's also a great lil convenience store with all the essentials and good prices! The inside's layout is pretty similiar to the show's from what I remember even though it wasn't actually filmed inside this store. Lots of fun lil Kim's convenience posters, signs and photos to see and the man working there was so kind! He made conversation and gave us free bags!! Thanks so much :)))

Massive fan of the show, I’ve seen it probably 5 times over, every episode! We were visiting from Australia and got so excited when we heard the actual store exists. It was so cool seeing it and the owners were super friendly 😊

It occurred to me late yesterday that I was in the actual city of this iconic establishment and surprisingly, quite close to all the places I need to visit. It was tragic that they weren't open even though it was past their hour to open. I was just glad to make it here...

the owner, and his loyal customers that walked in while I was talking to him, gave me the most wonderful experience tonight. truly one of the most sweetest people I’ve ever met, and it’s no surprise his customers love him too. also what a cute little well-kept store!!! the owner truly defines the store though and will make sure you leave the store with an heartwarming experience.

This is the #KimsConvenience location that is seen on TV (exterior shots). The interior is similar to the TV set. It is a real convenience store serving the neighbourhood with many different items. Of course there are many tourists that drop by for the novelty. The owner is also Asian and is really nice, helpful, and joyfully helps tourists take a photo. The TV stars pictures are on the walls as is a signed T-shirt from #Appa. Because of the success of the show it has drawn more traffic to Regent Park. #letsguide

Is this the superstar show played on Mauril? Yes, not only Netflix played it, Mauril(English learning app) or CBC also have it on their play list. I saw Simu Liu appear on the show so I thought it must be in Toronto, and let me check it out on Google! Then it came out as in Toronto! What a surprise! Good luck with the business however since business really needs solid good stuff to customers but not only the laughter.

We love the show and I found there is a real store so went there to take picture😄 It was so sweet😁 and the owner was so kind! He gave us a top and picture that had Appa's signature and then he took some pictures of us with them!

But don't forget to buy something from this kind owner please!

You gotta stop by if you watch the show on Netflix. You can get a Kim's Convenience tote bag inside ($3). 50 cents charge for credit card so $3.50. They also have a t shirt. We walked here from downtown. Area around the store is a bit sketchy.

The inside looks exactly like in the show, maybe a bit crowded. They charge 50cents when using a credit card. A great tourist trap

Totally nice store with friendly service. Featured in the super tv series Kim's Convinience. The typical corner convience. But located in a dodgy area of town.

Owner was wonderful and a tourist's dream. Offered to take photos of us, had me sign the guestbook, and told us about the cast. Extremely hospitable and would happily visit again.

Seeing the store for the first time made me feel at home. The store is alive and well and I can now officially die in peace 😁😆

The woman who I assume is the owner or at least is related was sooooooooo nice. She took our family's picture in store and said she would have taken it outside as well if she weren't alone in the store at the time. She told us about all the set dressing that had been put up and was about to be taken down the next day - the extra interior as well as exterior items. So I can only assume season 4 filming recently ended. I used their ATM and it had only a $2 convenience fee which was the lowest of the 4 ATMs I used in the Toronto area. Of course the neighborhood isn't the best, but the owner was so welcoming. I would support this business if I lived in the area.

We are big fans of the Netflix show Kim’s Convenience and while on vacation in Toronto we decided to walk to it!

Guy was really nice. Prices were fair. He let us take a picture, but there were no bathrooms. Not a family friendly area of town, but what are you gonna do, its all for the gram.
