Metro

The other day, I went to my local Metro, to buy some salmon for my dinner. I looked for it in the section of the store where I thought it would be, but I couldn't find any. It looked like it was all sold out. Since I needed some, I knocked on the door of the butcher's employee area. A young man with glasses came out and we chatted, I got his name, Shamus. He sold me a roast salmon that was just delicious. I was so delighted with his service that I wanted to write this review. He was very kind and helpful, and his service was a perfect 10/10!

Great selection, good prices, like buying food with airmiles

Very clean and easy to find things and maneuver around. Prices can be a bit higher than other grocery stores but sometimes worth it when you find something special. I love their 7 grain salad and the Dr. praegers California veggie burgers and the English toffee bakery cookies.

A large grocery store with a wide selection of foods, produce, meats and deli items. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Great staff! Incredible aquariums and terrariums! Purchased two moss balls and some Peacock moss.

Shop here instead of the other grocery store further down the street.

These folks are nicer, the food is fresh in the meal section (and hot if it needs to be). Service is very friendly, discounts are pretty reasonable and the shelves are nicely stocked.

Kudos, because this place is actually really clean.

I might add, they have staff at 8:00am, great people, super nice, always helpful and informative. I will continue to shop here.

I really like every Metro store I have shopped in.

Super fresh produce and meats. Good signs for distancing. Can use your own bags but must put groceries in yourself. Every cash is thoroughly washed between each customer! Some good sales this weekend!

My go to for groceries! Amazing produce, descent prices considering inflation, and the sales are pretty good!

Had the best visit the other day while looking for steaks! I asked for Sheamus specifically because he is always knowledgeable, patient and friendly. As usual, he gives the best recommendations. If you ever visit here, he's the one you go to for help. He made my shopping experience so much easier!

Steadily impressed by the quality of care these individuals show to they're patrons. The lengths they've gone to to protect not only their staff but their customers during the pandemic are admirable.

I take my 91 yr old father to the Butchery almost once a week...Been coming here for ever..there is also a small Grill inside called Vera's ..Very good smoke meat and the hamburgers are home made and one of the best I have had in the City...I have never been disappointed here..You can eat in or take out...Staff is friendly.

Safe to say, I usually find what I need.

I love going to the store. It has a human scale ( none of the mindless wandering in the gigantic Superstores) the staff are very helpful and friendly and you can even have your groceries bagged which almost never happens at a larger Loblaw type store. Keep up the good work!
