The LEGO® Store Southgate

Great selection and the staff are friendly. Legos pricing is a little out to lunch these days imo, but then it’s never been cheap. I love the creativity in the displays and the way things are displayed and dispense. Gotta check it out if your a real Lego fan.

Visited on Star Wars day. It was great to see the staff had dressed up for the occasion! They had multiple Star Wars themed offers as well. You're never too old for Lego!

I called in to the Southgate Lego store and a gentleman named Matthew answered. When I tell you this mad has the most chipper happy friendly voice I’ve ever I’m not kidding. Give this man a raise!! He was so helpful and kind to me and told me EXACTLY what I wanted to know and more!!! Thankyou Matthew!

Super friendly staff, great atmosphere, and lego! What more can I say? It's our family's favourite destination in the mall.

Excellent lego store. The limited number of people inside actually makes shopping quicker. Friendly and helpful staff.

I popped in today with a friend who is a massive Lego collector. I loved the layout of the store, it was spacious, organized, and well lit. I had some fun building my own mini figs to gift to a friend and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

The staff here are very friendly and very willing to help. But also not too pushy with help etc. Great place to go for your Lego needs!

My son loves going there as he can try out the newest Lego sets. The staff is nice and helpful too.

This is my second visit to this location, nicely set up and all staff were friendly and helpful! My main reason for visiting today was to pick up some specific Lego pieces fr their Pick & Build section before ordering online. Although the options were quite limited I was able to find most of the pieces I was looking for! Asked about a few pieces and staff even checked that back room for me which was great! Do still need to order pieces online but that's okay! Thanks again, @The LEGO® Store Southgate was an enjoyable visit even just to look at sets and displays!

Since reopening, the protocols are reassuring. The variation in sets and displays are super cool! It's always fun seeing how excited the little kid's get!

Lots of fun with a 3 year old, he loved playing with the legos and duplo they had out. Showing the completed sets was very nice and the set prices were very reasonable

Amazing People to talk to. Forgot the name of the gentleman that was helping me, great suggestions and friendly attitude. Next i had the pleasure of dealing with Andi, who had overheard me asking Pokemon lego to which i was told was not available. And when i got to the checkout Andi had pulled up other options and recommendations for me. Great example for going above and beyond.

Alright let me tell you the tale of the best customer service I have ever had to ask for. Let me take you back a few years.
Here we were, my ice cream loving partner and I; and we were on our way home from an event and found ourselves at the DQ in Southgate. Myself, not having had ice cream in years, but wanting to get the dreamsicle for the orange chocolate, got one to humour him, and then continued to humour him by browsing Southgate at 10 minutes to 9: working retail myself, I am aware what a cardinal sin this is.

He proceeds to go towards the one-open of the double doors on the Lego store. I pull back. He pushes further. I plead no. He goes in. I follow.

Here we are, staring at Lego sets, at 4 minutes to 9 pm on a weekday, and holding ice cream cones in the Lego store made of pristine boxes and immaculate plexiglass displays and massive Lego works, with every tiny crook and cranny of thousands of Lego blocks.
And this is the moment that my ice cream cone decides to explode. I mean drop to the floor, splatter in every direction. The sales associate whips into action, a young man bearing a striking but handsomer resemblance to Steve Buschemi, who has been graciously entertaining my partner up until this point, assures us that this ice cream explosion all over his practically closed Lego store, that “THIS IS OK!” as he whips out a mop, while comforting me in my most mortifying moment of my own personal nightmare.

So, there is the tale of the best customer service that I had to ask for. And I haven’t had an ice cream since.
