Much better prices this week.

Thank you Safeway as prices had been outrageous. This week I feel much better deals. I hope the government does something to help people instead of the rich getting richer and the poor more poor.
I feel that these store chains are almost criminals or organized crime. I’m not talking about just Safeway but all food chains taking advantage of the needs of the people as when it comes to food is a necessity not a luxury. Then they compliant about crime in the raise .

Today they had a few things on sale and I feel they were great sales.

Variety of goods is excellent. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable .

Very clean, well organized, all the staff are very friendly and helpful… Deli & bakery is very very good and all of the shelves are full with variety products. Very impressive

Just stop there are very nice I go there on a regular basis most of them know me even by name. They're all very warm friendly and welcoming.

Very good store. I was just wondering if they can keep a halal chicken or beef section. The store has lots of variety and this is the only thing I really miss.

This is favorite place to shop , they almost always have what I'm looking for.Shoppers drug mart is accross the parking lot .I can also get gas for my car at Safeway's service station

Have everything you would need. With the exception of liquor 🤪 not to worry, you have a liquor store (wine and beyond) across the parking

Went in for Flowers and the florist was super friendly and great to talk to while she created a beautiful arrangement for my mother in law.

Very convenient area and tons of parking. The store is extremely clean and they stock a lot of products. I especially enjoy the deli section however the bakery is my favorite part of the market. All of the employees are curtious and very helpful.

Well, safeway is a good place to work and get food for your birthday or whatever

A big shout out to stephanie amd Jan at SG Safeway. I went and bought s ready made soup today and read the sign potatoe bacon. I grabbed a bowl and left. Realizing when I opened it it was actually mushroom soup. I went back in and told then they had the wrong sign for the wrong soup.
To MY own fault I had read the sign wrong and toom the wrong soup. Thank you for allowing me to replace my soup for the one I wanted DESPITE it being my own fault.
NOW THAT IS customer service with the fault being my own.
I acknowledged I was in the wrong and said so and was willing to eat my own mistake.
BUT, they said NO. Take the proper one.

Had a great experience at the pharmacy. Over the past few months this pharmacy has been super helpful in administering my medication but today I decided to put my big girl pants on and start doing it myself. The pharmacist behind the counter was very helpful, informative, and friendly! He gave me the encouragement I needed to get rid of my final anxieties while also educating me on how to correctly complete the process. Many thanks!

Great customer service. The first grocery mall I ever visited in Edmonton. The products are always fresh and reasonably priced.

I had a really great experience today at this Safeway. The guy at the entry was super kind and friendly and it immediately made my morning better. Later I asked another man where I could find an item and he told me where it was and immediately offered to show me when I said I must have walked right past it. And again later I was looking for some sandwich meat with that look of "I don't know what to do" and a lady asked if I needed any help and when I said nothing on the shelf was peaking my interest she suggested the deli counter. But she said it with a jovial spirit and her bright personality and help made me smile. Overall it was just a great morning of kind and helpful employees that really made my heart glow.

Love it here. Everyone's so helpful to locate something if you can't find something, as well as for the worker in the flowers section there is really kind and courteous that if I need a pen or tape or something they're willing to help right away. I like this Safeway location cause everyone's really happy. Good job Southgate Safeway :)
