Black Owned Bookstore pretty close to the heart of Downtown Brampton. I pre-ordered and picked up a novel here a couple months back and service was amazing! The Bookstore is beautiful and there's a great collection of books for every age. I definitely recommend this Independent Bookstore! The staff is very friendly and helpful if you're looking for something in particular. I recommend even just visiting because the store is so lovely.

Great variety of books and items for all ages. It's a gem of a place where you find items with Black cultural images that you do not find easily everywhere else. Store staff is very friendly and always up for a chat.

Best bookstore I've ever been to. Collection is unlike any other bookstore, and has a wide range of authors to choose from. Owner is so kind and friendly. One of the best things is their section for childrens toys and books. Plus an extremely inviting atmosphere. Wish I could buy a book here everyday.

Awesome place to buy books for people of cilour. Great children's section geared toward African American kids...great selection of gifts.

It's like being put in a time machine and being transported back to a market shop in my African homeland or a store in the Carribean.

They have a wonderful collection of African-themed books, Marvel Wakanda Black Panther novels, & even hair + beauty products for black women, too.

Their genuinely friendly attendant that receives your payment also engages you in a good chat.

If you need to soak in knowledge about the blakc experience, you'd find a very good selection of material to pick up from here.

I have been a customer of Knowledge Bookstore for years. They specialize in and identity affirming, and culturally responsive resources. I have stocked my classroom and now my office with books and other items from Knowledge.

Great bookstore with amazing books and toys for black and mixed children. My go to store for any of my nieces and nephews birthdays and Christmas. Worth the visit if you've never gone! The staff is always amazing too!

Fantastic bookstore! Walking in to the store I could feel how much love is poured into what goes on the shelves. I could have spent hours in here looking at all of the fantastic books. Walked away with a little stack for my daughter and can not wait to come back and visit with my daughter so she can choose some books to go home with.
There is something here for everyone! Books for babies, children, adults.. theres comics and toys, beauty products and stationary. Amazing.

I had an amazing online shopping experience with this lovely store! I placed an order and received a phone call within the week informing me of a delay due to stock of one of the books I purchased, I greatly appreciated the phone call and being kept updated on the order status. Also since I was a local customer they refunded me the cost of shipping- I believe this may have been a holiday promotion. I received my order just today, packaged beautifully and delivered right to my front door! Such an awesome experience- I will definitely be visiting the store location in future!

My favourite bookstore in CANADA! This bookstore is so informative when it comes to black history. Without this store i wouldn't have known anything about my history other than just being a slave. Thanks Sean and Michelle for making a black focused bookstore for our people

I wish I had known about this bookstore when my boys were young. I used to read to them every night, one book per child and one for me. It was difficult to find books with illustrations that reflected them in the mainstream bookstores. Here you can find books that reflect them that are fun and delightful to read along with ones that teach about their cultural heritage. With plenty of parking in back, this is worth checking out if you or your children have some extra melanin.
