Owner is very kind, helpfull and sympathic. Many indian produces (mostly dry) that you don't find anywhere else in the area. They also sell a few good snacks ready to eat like samosas and desserts.

What a great store! Anything you need and think of to prepare amazing dishes. Very nice selection of spices, frozen items, fresh products, Basmati rice, cookies and even fresh samosas and else.
The owner is a lovely man, giving you all the information you may need while shopping.

I visited the store and found everything I needed. A good collection of exotic spices, frozen food, freshly packed snacks n samosas and sweets. Well maintained, easy to access. You get quick recipes in bonus if a beginner!

First time for me today. Wow! What an experience. Went in to get ingredients for a new recipe. The owner took time to help me find the ingredients I was looking for and gave me valuable informations on different products. Can't wait to cook and taste the result. I will go back for sure. I recommend this store.

This store is a great source for any Indian spices you might need and they are very fresh. I recently acquired some choice green cardamom pods because their scent was overwhelmingly enticing.

The old man is getting old every day. I feel sorry for him. A lot of variety. They have the best samosa and sweets in town. Amazing prices and amazing quality. The old man needs to retire soon

Great place for getting Indian / South Asian food and groceries, convenient location in Brossard. I really like the services provided, Shop owner is friendly and ensures greater customer satisfaction. You could call over the phone and reserve some of really fast moving food (eg: Fresh samosas, you order for events / parties), I requested for some special Indian food items and shop owner was kind enough to look for it and bring. I strongly recommend this place if you are looking for Indian / South Asian groceries.

They have good amount of Indian stuffs. I would say good collection of snacks. Clean store and the owner was good in interacting with customer.
Next time will come for salty khari:-P.

Been going to Samar for the past 10 years. Owner is friendly and welcoming. The store is always clean and no funky smell compared to other desi grocery stores. Good variety of spices and frozen products.

The best ever. Right from basic daily use vegetables to take away foods like samosa and sweets everything is fresh and of a very good quality. The only market I would recommend for Indian grocery shopping.

This is a nice Indian grocery shop. One and only Indian grocery shop on the south shore of Montreal. Very centrally located, close to longueuil , Saint Hubert, Brossard, Saint Lambert, Greenfield park.
You can get almost everything here that we need in Indian cooking.

Good place to get all things for a desi kitchen on the south shore. Apart from the myriad spices, grains, pulses, snacks, frozen ready to eat, they keep fresh snacks and sweets at the counter. The only place for best indian 'ghiya' (bottle gourd) around. They now have utensils for specific South asian cooking needs too. Friendly and helpful owner.

The owners are courteous and approachable. Produce is fresh and they stock top-notch brands. I especially enjoy ordering a dozen warm samosas and pakoras... and eating them on the way home. Kinda like eating into that dozen of Fairmont/St.Viateur bagels...

Friendly owner who helps you to find items when asked. Also gives advice if you don't know about products. Snacks are sold at normal prices. I have always found what we need in this store.
