A nice, friendly, fourth generation grocer's local market in the Oak Bay district of Victoria with emphasis on fresh deli meats and cheeses, plenty of grocery items including fresh baked goods and a variety of fresh produce, floral and imported specialty items. Located in Athlone Square surrounded by a variety of local retailers and offices in the shopping centre of Oak Bay. Open daily 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. Competitively priced. Transit bus routes 2/5/8 run along Oak Bay Avenue and free on street parking available. Very pleasant surroundings.

Love this place. The location is so peaceful. And I was able to buy a whole salmon for only 14 dollars! The store is also near a bus stop so it's very accessible.

My most recent experience at this specific Fairway Market™ was nothing short of remarkable. When I entered the store I was greeted by a pleasant earthy scent that brought me right back to childhood where I would often visit my Grandfather’s farm in Northern Ireland. The atmosphere in the store was very comfortable, bordering on felicitous. I was shopping for some assorted vegetables as I was planning on cooking ratatouille for supper that evening. Luckily for me the employees were ready to assist me, and they helped me find exactly what I was looking for. When I was ready to check out I found an open register and was greeted by a scruffy looking young man who helped me purchase my produce. He seemed very friendly and we made light conversation as he rang up my items. When he was finished he thanked me for shopping at Fairway Market™ and wished me a good rest of my day. Overall my experience at Fairway Market™ was the best that it’s ever been, and I will be sure to shop at Fairway Market™ again. 👨🏻‍🦰

This is where I usually shop for groceries. It has a good environment and the service is friendly. Nothing is overpriced and the quality is quite good. The butchers are amazing, the meat is in excellent condition.

So far surprising level of products for such a small store. They would make a killing if they offered take-out deli fare as like on Quadra outlet.

this kid named max blonde hair scruffy looking guy helped me find the Bakery, Bread, Meat, Seafood, Pasta, Rice, Oils, Sauces, Salad, Dressings, Condiments, Cereals, Breakfast Foods, Soups, Canned Goods, Frozen Foods, Dairy, Cheese, and Eggs.Really great guy i borrowed him for like half an hour we really hit it off.

Fairway is a great local food store.

Friendly staff, with the new renovation the place is much nicer. Good selection of Asian and British foods. Prices are very competitive

All you need. Cozy but you don't have to run 20 aisle to finish your shopping list. A lot of European classics.
