A great community grocer! Produce prices are very reasonable and the produce is always high quality. Packaged food prices are very marked up, but that's to be expected at a small, local grocery like this one and the convenience is worth the markup. The staff are all very friendly and always happy to help or just make small talk while checking out.

Fresh, friendly, and fair. I go there every day or two to buy milk and fruit. They alway welcome me and have an excellent selection.

Recently was driving through the area (not often I come through this part of town) and decided to stop in for a few essentials before heading home. As I walked in the store, I was greeted by a bubbly young man. Not often do I witness teenagers with such bright attitudes, so that was a nice surprise. I was having trouble finding the eggs and the same young man from the front pointed me in the right direction; with a smile on his face. As I gathered my things and headed to the cashier, the helpful young man rung my items through; asking intently about my day. I left the store that day feeling much more joyful than when I had entered. I will definitely be returning to this store.

A reasonably-priced family-owned shop with a good selection to suit most tastes (including a small but good selection of Indian food).
Their covid protocols are very good and I will not forget the day last year when they had to shut down - I'm tearing up a little bit as I remember this - the owners and employees went around the neighborhood to give away all the perishable stock.
I'd rather pay slightly more to this neighborhood shop than pay slightly less to the big supermarket up the street.

Clean and well supplied. Some things are more expensive than the grocery store but that is expected of course but they always have something on sale for a good price. Always. The veggies I buy here always last. They have hand sanitizer right in the veggie section and encourage patrons to use it. Love all of the cashiers, so friendly. My fav local corner store for sure!

I shop here regularly because I live down the street. Lovely people, and although it is a little pricey, I don't mind supporting them. They have convenient hours and a good selection of higher quality foods (as well as classic staple items).

Honestly one if the best family owned small grocery shops in Vancouver I am sure. There is a great selection of everything you need with excellent quality. The prices can be a little high but so are the prices of most grocery stores in Vancouver. I am so grateful Sunshine Market is in my neighborhood.

Not sure what's wrong with the person who gave the 1 star. But yes it is a little on the expensive side so shop smart. The staff are far from rude. Maybe the individual was having a bad day and projected it on to the staff.

But its clean. Has a good selection. And the staff are friendly. Just be prepared to spend 2 + times the amount of money you would say at no frills.

This is a cute little market with more products than I expected. Lots of organic options too. They are always very welcoming and friendly. I would rather shop at a local business than a chain like Costco.

Friendly staff, great safety measures in place with hand sanitizer and plexiglass to help get staff safe! A little pricy but really convenient if your in the area and their open late!

Sunshine market always has an excellent selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and quite competitive prices. I prefer them to Superstore or No Frills for produce.

I’ve been going here for two years. Good friendly service. Good selection, they have a little bit of everything. Prices are ok. If I need something quick, only being two blocks away I’m not having issues with prices, especially considering the good service.

Best neighbourhood market in town. Prices are a bit higher than large supermarket but its friendly service, surprisingly great selection and local produce keeps locals shopping at this long standing store.

Awesome corner store. They got the essentials covered. Fresh veggies and fruit? Check. Edamame? Check. Craving some Kraft singles? Check. PB&J/Nutella sandwich? Check. Tomato paste? Check. Pasta and sauces? Check. Super grains and legumes? Check. Good assortment of snick snacks (some Asian ones too)? Check. Ice cream? Check. Sugary drinks? Check. Some meat? Check. Doesn't close too early? Check. Within a really reasonable walking distance of my place? Check. A friendly store 🐈 to greet you when you come in? Unfortunately, no check.
