Food Basics

To all the workers at this specific Food Basics.. you guys are the best! Absolutely wonderful experience everytime I shop there. Everyone is very kind and helpful, the customer service is phenomenal and everyone seems genuinely happy at their job!! As someone with bad anxiety.. this is my comfort store. The prices and the people. Thank you all for being so awesome at your job! ❤

The prices and quality on produce are fantastic. Everything else is roughly the same as most other stores. Makes this a no brainer to shop here.

Always pleasantly surprised to be able to find so many international goods that just can't be found elsewhere. And then there's the great prices (at least relatively speaking).

If you pass by Ontario, save money on groceries and lots of choices, including some exotic ones.

An incredibly clean and well organized food basics. It also has a lot of great finds and perks. The staff was very kind and informed me that self checkout is coming soon!

Clean and well stocked. Good if you are looking for your basic groceries for a good price. Staff are also friendly.

I had a wonderful cashier on lane #1 who helped me through a full blown anxiety attack today at 2:12pm. She kept calm and kept encouraging me throughout it. I couldn't appreciate her more. Thank you

Products are well managed. Two things that are very important to me are - the powered cart that they have for anyone who is disabled and there is a very clean washroom for customers.
Also the casheirs are usually very friendly. This is my main choice of grocery stores.

Staff is always outstanding here! Cashiers are friendly and kind and I love shopping here! Produce selection is great and they are always well stocked. Excellent international food section! So good!

Haven't gone to Food Basics in years. It seems bigger and good selections. The staff were helpful pointing me to the right aisle to things I couldn't find myself. I found a new grocery store to go on a regular basis :)

I really like this place as their prices are hard to beat. The isles are spacious and they carry almost everything food wise. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the meat isle is fantastic. The cashiers are friendly and helpful. I used to shop at a large store at the east end of town but have changed to Food Basics. Try it and I'm sure you will agree with me.

Covid19 review: Very good discount shopping experience in brockville. Long line to checkout but it moves quickly so the wait is short. Store is relatively new, clean, and well stocked. Pleasant interactions with staff made the sojourn enjoyable. Nice young man checking for masks and cleaning carts at the door. Friendly fellow out in the lot collecting dirty ones. Went for some flyer specials and happily found them in plentiful amounts. If you're in Brockville and need some discount foodstuffs, this is the store to be.

They have recently renovated the store and it has dramatically increased the esthetics. The entrance is much wider which makes it much easier when using a walker. The aisles are rearranged which makes it look cleaner, and much more inviting. The ends of the aisles are labeled, making finding items quicker. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Good selection, the food is usually in better condition than in Prescott, the cashiers seem legitimately pleasant beyond getting paid to be nice.

I stop in here every time that I am in town to see what is on sale.

The store has always been clean and I have found everything that I wanted (other than really odd items that weren’t available anywhere in town)

Excellent experience at Food Basics in Brockville! Produce was fresh and plentiful. Wide variety of product at excellent prices. The store was clean and all Covid protocols seemed to be in place. I was especially impressed with the international food selection! Since the international restaurants here are limited it's nice to be able to have access to some harder to find ingredients so I can make my favorite dishes at home!

Good layout and easy to find what I was looking for. Really good prices and sales on a lot of items! Friendly staff and good health/safety measures in place. Always enjoy my visits

My grocery order was rung through today by the best cashier I have ever met. I'm fifty years old and have done alot of grocery shopping.
Cashier #147 was the most helpful, considerate and efficient!!
A rare find these days...👏
