Just an incredible product, the staff are extremely helpful throughout the whole process too. The couch is incredible, it's not only beautiful in design but also extremely comfortable. I also love that if I do spill anything they are super easy to clean. The quality overall is well worth the wait!

Service was great. He moved couches around the showroom so I could see and really try the configuration I wanted to get.
The wait was less than I expected, and the delivery went really well. They even helped me move around some furniture to a different room.

We LOVE our puff! The fabric is great, it’s plush and very comfortable. It’s exactly what we wanted. Would definitely go back to EdB.

Received my EDB couch after a few months wait just a couple weeks ago and I am IN LOVE. It is comfortable, modern looking and while the fabric is light in color, it is durable and so far withstanding the challenges posed by my two children amazingly well.

Delivery and installation went seamlessly and the company was very professional and just a pleasure to do business with. Would 100% buy another piece in the future.

The sofa arrived in about 4 months and looks great. There is however a strong offgassing odour of paint thinner that will hopefully go away in a few days. This is the panorama curve in velvet light grey.

Excellent service and was absolutely satisfied when it arrived 4 months later. Quality velvet, sturdy and comfortable. Would highly recommend buying from Element de base.

**UPDATE 2**
The frame exchange went smoothly and I’m now enjoying my couch again (I attached a photo of the new frame)! Everyone I encountered throughout this process had been communicative and did what they could to make sure it went well. Frank in Customer Service checked in with me before and after, Catherine in the transport team who arranged the delivery was prompt and friendly, and even the delivery company (Yevgen? I believe was his name) was very friendly and efficient. This experience has restored my faith in edb and I would consider purchasing from them again. Hopefully this new frame will survive much longer than the previous one.

Just two days after posting this review Frank reached out to sincerely apologize for the mishap and quickly offered to schedule a replacement frame delivery. I really appreciate the apology and the swift response to remedy my situation! I'm crossing my fingers that the new frame won't cause any more issues. I'll continue to update my review in this process.

**ORIGINAL REVIEW**
AVOID!!!!!!!!!! My Dive 3P broke after not even 2 years! Frank in customer service promised they’d send me a new frame but ghosted me! I followed up ONE YEAR LATER to NO response.

EDB was great in the beginning of my purchase process. I desperately want to love my couch because the style and comfort was excellent (until the couch broke). However I cannot support this company at all given how poorly constructed their product is for the price point (I paid $1500 approx in 2020) and their lack of actual remediation for the issues I’m facing.

I don’t have children or pets that lead to jumping and excessive force on the couch. I don’t do anything unusual to the couch. I just sit and nap on it like how an average person would. Yet somehow the couch still broke in two places.

Timeline:

The couch was delivered in November 2020. As of summer 2022 I started hearing a creaking sound when I sit on the left cushion. I didn't think anything of it until sometime in September 2022 when I heard a loud pop as I sat down. Turns out a spring has come loose and punctured the bottom of the sofa.

In September 2022 I started corresponding my issues with Frank. This went on for a few months.

In January 2023 he finally said he would send me a new frame after he checks the inventory and would get back to me. I hadn’t heard back anything at all after that.

In January 2024 I followed up as it’s been literally a year since I last heard from him. But I didn’t get a response.

Fast forward to March 2024 when I was moving apartments, I see another set of springs poking out of the bottom puncturing the covering. I realized the exposed sharp edges of the springs mangled my floor. The only thing I can do now is duct tape the sharp metal ends to prevent even more floor scratches and cover up the holes in the bottom lining of the couch.

We bought the Boost sectional in velvet olive and it’s just beautiful. We dealt with Sean who was just amazing. The sectional was ordered end of July and we were supposed to receive it by November but we got it end of September. We love it!!! We also ordered 2 perplexe green tables that look gorgeous and are multi-use. This couch is definitely beautiful. The removable cover are super practical, especially with a 1 year old. Amazing customer experience.

We recently bought a warehouse couch at 50% off and are absolutely in love with it. So comfortable & stylish! They were very helpful and patient in store. Delivery process was easy - they even removed all the plastic & set it up in my living room.

Amazing experience with EDB, shopped their annual warehouse sale and when I couldn't find the right couch on-site the staff was very helpful. Consistent updates as we waited for our order to be ready. When there was a slight delay they offered us a gift of throw pillows to compensate us and were communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. The couch is great for our space and is cuper comfortable. Highly recommend.

We couldn't be happier with our new couch! It is very comfortable, it fits so perfectly with our space, and the best part is that it's modular. The covers are removable for easy cleaning or replacing for a new look. The staff is friendly and is honest about the average wait time. Would definitely recommend.

We are so delighted with the purchase of our Tube Wooly sofa. Not only is it beautiful, comfy and a lovely addition to our bedroom. The service we received and delivery were first class. We will unhesitatingly return to EDB for future needs.

THIS is the PERFECT PLACE to get your own sofa. I am the new comer to Montreal and so searching for the comfy sofa all around the city. I have been to more than 10 furniture stores and find here. When I have tried GRIZZLY, I can just know that it is the one I was looking for. It is very comfortable and soft but not too soft so that I can lean on.

The staffs are so nice and gentle, I and my hubby can look around and try seating and lying freely. When I have some questions, they responds right away.

EDB sofas can be customized with choosing the set, textile of covers. Thus, I can choose the right set suit for my home. Luckily I could get the on-site visit discount and GRIZZLY was in stock at that time.

The sofa was delivered in 10 days, and the delivery service was also perfect. I have enjoyed stucking in the sofa for about half months. I highly recommend this place. If you want to buy sofa, you should try !

FYI, considering the price, it is much reasonable than IKEA.

Love my élément de base couch! I purchased the boost in cinnamon in July and they estimated early October for delivery but it was ready by Sept 1! They were super helpful scheduling delivery and the delivery men were very professional and efficient.

Anytime friends come over they always compliment the couch - it’s just very different from what else is on the market!

Wow! I did not know that shopping for couches could be such a magical experience. EDB is my new happy place. Really chill vibe yet extremely helpful customer service. They answered all of my questions patiently and didn't bat an eye as my kids proceeded to "test" all of the couches in the showroom.

Oh yeah, and there's the part where I'm ready to go ahead and marry my couch. It's a real looker. I sincerely think it has improved my quality of life. I lounge on it smugly like a Queen waiting to be handfed her grapes, wondering if I was even living before? Even the children tell me spontaneously that they love the new couch, which is award-winning for family snuggles and also converts into a killer pillow fort by the way. Did I mention it didn't break the bank and delivery was included? And slip covers!? I can't even.

Purchased a sofa where everything from first asking for samples to ordering to communication to delivery was smooth.

The staff are friendly over emails and phone calls to ensure I was up to date on the process and the delivery while contracted out in my province was smooth as well. The sofa is exactly as shown, the material even better in person versus my initial reservations when I felt the samples. They even sent along a small token of appreciation for my business.

The piece is perfect and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.
