Kin's Farm Market

I love the sweet Asian couple that own this store! And I love that buying from here supports a local business :)

Their fruit is always fresh and they have a huge variety. My kids like the taste testers!

This is a local chain market selling fresh and often local produce at reasonable prices. It’s great seeing a local business supporting local farmers.

Since it’s fall season, you’ll find plenty of fresh assorted local apples such as ambrosia, Fuji, etc (many that major stores don’t carry). I was happy to find local potatoes here which is a treat!

They’re conveniently located in the Lynn Valley mall near the liquor store.

I shop here often, but my experience yesterday prompted me to write a review. I had collected a basket of produce, including a box of mini mandarin oranges, which were on sale. The cashier, a young Asian woman who struggled with the English language, asked me if i had opened the box of mandarins. When I said no, she opened it, inspected every orange, removed two that had spots, and replaced them with good oranges. That's the kind of customer service that will keep me coming back.

I shop here 3-4 times a week. Helen is always helpful and very nice to me. Thanks Helen!
