Urban Fare

Fantastic supermarket. They have self checkout, which is great. The berries and fruits were great. There's good choice of fish and meat, and different kinds of cheeses. I'm spoiled by food in London, but I managed to cover all my needs and more there.

I really enjoy coming here before n after DB practices. It's close to home n it gets in some great plants that I really enjoy perusing and buying. I do very much feel sad when I see that they neglect the plants in there sometimes. To the point that they die. I find that very hard on me. So when I see the plants that clearly are dried out but can still be rescued, I make an effort to water them. I usually get the water from the buckets of cut flowers nearby. IK that the plants appreciate my care n it helps me to feel better.

It has a nice selection of food supplies and beverages n I like n appreciate the cafeteria food inside to the left when one comes in the doors. I also enjoy the lounge area where I can chill more easily; especially the coffee tables n soft arm chairs.

They used to sell more vegan food in the cafeteria area, but it got taken away…I guess bc there wasn't much of a demand for it. Sad for me bc I'm vegan. I just hope that more people who want to eat vegan make it known that they want it there. So for now, it's just omnivore n vegetarian offerings.

really good store and only quality

Love this place, super grateful that they have one in Olympic Village. Good selection, lots of health food snacks. Fresh salmon goes on sale once a week or something, great deal. It just feels nice being in here.

I live a couple block's from there so am able to go there without needing to take a bus to be able to get there, & they always have super awesome friendly staff, especially when I have ended up having to be the last shopper leaving the door's, & helping me to pack my item's up into my bag's for me, with out being rude to me an usually always patient & quick,( also thoughtfully aware about me being in a manual wheelchair) & that I need help to get it put on the back of my chair a certain way, & keeping a respectful amazing additude towards me, & awesome listening skills). They also have a cute little Starbuck's inside, & great sandwiches, earlier in the day I think they have take out or eat in Chinese & already made meals dish's with 2 or 3 different ones to choose, sushi, and fresh cut fruit, just past a bit of produce & always seasonal plant's to choose that always have a good selection of different kinds of nice little planting pot's @ the beginning of the store, little delli, really good cake's, & with a mini bakery area and I think a butchers area now too. If you know how to look for great deals and pay action to what brand names to look out for and were to go inside for sales an stuff it can be like a mini save-on-food cause they have the same rewards card and same flyer for the great savings.

I give 5 stars because of Ian in the produce section. He is so helpful and wonderful.☆♡

Love this place, best selection and prices on chocolate milk I have seen in the entire area so far.

Also the meat and other products are top quality, incidentally.

Thank you to the cashier who helped me today at 11am. She was so nice and allowed me to use my own bags. The store was so clean and stocked with everything I wanted. Great measures in place to protect workers. Urban Fare take good care and protect your cashiers and give them lots of breaks to wash their hands. Suggest the store to allow for clean wipes or plastic for customers to hold the cart handles so they don’t have to spread germs on the shopping carts.

I used to live at Olympic Village and I love it. There are different types and brands of products (sometimes a little bit overpriced, but worth it). I really recommend the truffled humus and the mix of olives oil. Also, the black olive oil bread. Not so crowded and the staff always super helpful. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Expensive but good quality
Great salad bar and ready to go fresh meals. My favourite is the chicken caesar salad and the greek salad shaker.

Excellent and reasonably priced lunch options here. Great if you want to grab a quick sandwich or salad that doesn't cost the earth. Sandwiches for $6 and rice bowls for $12. They also have a hot food counter which I am looking forward to trying in the coming months

A clean, well-stocked Urban Fare in the Olympic Village. They have many aisles for healthy products. Dairy-free and gluten-free foods are also readily available. The line is always moving fast and shoppers here tend to be environmentally conscious too.

my wife asked me to give this place a sixth star if possible. This is probably the only place in the whole False Creek South that offers joggers some "convenience". Let's give them more business.

Situated downtown, perfect for who is a tourist here and looking to buy some fresh, good quality food, withoutspending a fortune. Great variety, good prices, you can also buy already cooked meals, healthy choices included. Fruits and vegetables are the first department you will encounter, great idea Hurban Fare 👍

Great muffins. Awful prepared foods. Good hot food counter. Love their lack of interest in loss prevention. Must make up for it getting idiots to pay these prices at a barely rebranded Save-on-foods. Always a greater fool...

Things are not cheap, but it is of better quality. Since I was in the area, I figured that I should grab a few things before the upcoming bad weather. I also wanted to enjoy something nice for dinner.

Many selections of great sandwiches!! Tried the pepperoni Calzone was delicious. The turkey looked way better though. Next time!

Nice little market for lunch and some higher end items within Olympic Village. Gets busy but has a nice place to relax for coffee in the morning during weekdays.
