Wonderful store with local products. A great place to do holiday gift shopping. The employees were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Loads of cool stuff- would recommend to everyone to go in and take a look!

What an unexpected gem of a store! Walking by with my granddaughter on our way to a nearby restaurant, we happened to notice this interesting place and decided to pop in. It's chockablock with local goods of all kinds. Handmade soaps, jams and sauces, candles, honey... on and on. I couldn't begin to do it justice. Some vintage stuff too. We didn't stay as long as we'd like as we were so hungry, but we plan to return. Floor to ceiling, wall to wall, a fascinating, well-curated, high-quality selection of goods. Would be a fantastic place to shop for Christmas or any other festivity. Friendly service too. A sign outside says they will feed you if you're hungry, no questions asked. Wow! A community-minded venue with a fantastic selection of items for sale. Highly recommend Jackson's General. 10/10

Stores like this makes a city interesting and worth visiting. Vancouver sadly is becoming more and more sterile and boring as many of its specialty stores disappear for the lack of its citizens support as they chase more efficient shopping practices!
But luckily there are those of whom that have a different vision.....My kudos to Mike for having the courage to open a special store like this. It’s a gem for the neighborhood with lots of interesting and quality goods run by an impassioned entrepreneur!

I was biking around the area one day and found this shop. Wow, what a gem! Awesome selection of products, from household goods to food to clothing, and with a focus on local, Canadian brands. Also brands that are environmentally friendly/sustainable.

You can see the love and dedication that goes into this business when you walk through the doors of Jackson's General. Mike works with dozens of local companies to have a large presence of local goods stocked. We have also worked with Jackon's for custom products and Mike has been fantastic to work with! We would highly recommend this store, especially if you're looking for local products or are in need of custom products.

Such a cool store. Awesome products and they’re mostly locally sourced. Prices are very reasonable as well. Bought a chilli oil made by Jackson himself and it’s unreal!

My husband loves the Suas Coffee Hot Sauce that is sold here. They ship it to the Okanagan at minimal cost. When I am in Vancouver I love to stop in, as they carry many unique products. Stop in and check it our for yourself.

This is a store created by the originator of Jackson snowboards it is a catch-all for cool I agree and so many neat and unique items that both brought back memories and call for ownership asking you to take them home because they're so cool the owner is on site quite often and he's a gentleman to deal with his staff are also very outgoing and easy to talk to

Quaint little storefront for an eclectic selection of local/artisnal/hipster-chic goods including soaps, sweaters, plaid, pickled foods, honey, hot sauces and more.

Located in an old Y Franks appliance building, the wood stoves have now been replaced by friendly staff and a well stocked shop. Worth dropping by if you are in the area.

Owner was personable and extremely helpful. Awesome range of products: local consumables, clothing, stationary, self care items. Relaxing shopping experience!

Mike has designed some pretty awesome shirts, and our grubwear hats are our hands-down favorites - they're super comfortable. We're proud to support this local Canadian company and are always excited to see what he's designing next!
