It's been 84 years and I can still remember the old Metro at this exact location. The new one is brighter, shiny, and extremely neat. It also looks bigger now.
- A complete haulover and better than before.
- Prices are quite decent too.
- Great location with bike-rails so you can lock your bike.
- Great Produce selection.
- More checkout lanes now to not leave one waiting.

Definitely a great grocer in the neighbourhood worth appreciating. Thank you, Metro!

I didn't realize they make pizza here...you can place your order, do your shopping, then pick it up. It's really good, with a perfect crust – better than Dominoes.

Go to grocery store for students offering 10% discount to students on Tuesdays. Removed from the downtown core this metro offers much lower prices on all essentials. Be sure to check out the clearance sections located in each department for some great deals.

Had the take out pizza was great freshly made to order less than $20 for 2 small

The store is great, but the price is not so much knowing it's located in the beechwood area and surrounded by a wealthy family, I think for the price, you might as well go to FARMBOY.

This is a small but well distribute super market, lots of choices from prepared meals, bakery, fish market and a wine and beer section. Love the fact that you can get everything in one spot not the cheapest but very good quality products.

I love their selection of ready made meals. Better priced and quality than Loblaws. Their deli counter has a large selection and good prices. Staff are always super friendly and helpful.

Always liked Metro. Small and big enough for the essentials plus the undiscovered. The Pizza is excellent. Order one to find out !

Smaller than other metros I have visited, but clean and fully stocked. Many premade sandwiches and meals to choose from as well.

Big store, very organized and clean, good variety of products an excellent staff.
Often there are sales in various products and they have a nice selection of good beer and wine, as well as sampling events with good products.
There is a nice parking lot and you can see that the security doing its job looking after wellness of people and property.

Metro. (formerly Loeb, formerly IGA, at least in Ottawa) the store where you go when you want to be able to find the craft dinner without having to walk a kilometre. For the most part they all stay mostly the same. They may not have the selection of those other guys, but it's a matter of priority: do you need a shuttle bus to get everything on your list, or do you want to keep the walk and frustration to a minimum?

Fantastic layout and products it's the only place I've found prepackaged salami in a long time plus the meat selection is very good

Well run, nice staff for the most part. Good products, produce is average. The alcohol has added its usual misery. Nice size store.

Hey whats not to love a Metro. The ones I go to are just the right size.
Always have friendly services. There are always someine working and that you can go for help.
Its bright , its clean and the staff are nice, they still clean after you used any of the cash. Great store. Good size parking, carts are picked up and store is clean and inviting.

Top notch store. A rarity in which would otherwise would be a "food desert" good service, product quality, and location. I highly recommend this store, whether on your way to work (location. . 2 mins from them market) or out of your way. My go to for protein. (Aways a good special on account of metro production of meat) and they sell brewskies. Nuff said

This grocery store has it all - even flowers for $10 so that I can enjoy fresh blooms every week (almost) without breaking the bank. Decent prices on their cheeses and great beer selection too. Oh and their oven fired pizza at mix and match six slices for $20 is a Friday night staple.
