Villa Luciole

I stayed in Villa Luciole for two nights and had an excellent stay. The setting and hotel are absolutely beautiful, with lush gardens full of flowers and even its own waterfall. It's very peaceful and a great place to relax, but also makes an excellent base to explore the Mount Manengouba twin lakes (reachable directly from the hotel on a long day hike) and Ekom-Nkam falls from. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, and the food was delicious. Communication with the hotel by WhatsApp ahead of my stay was professional. I wish I had the time to stay an extra day and I will definitely stay here again if I will be back in this part of the world.

It has a swimming pool with a restaurant offering delicious meals.

A cozy lodge close to the heart of Douala, overlooking the river Wouri. This is the right place for a weekend getaway, in a calm and romantic environment.

Beaitiful rustic place with a lot of charm. Very narrow choice of food and drinks tho. Ask for their special bread its delicious.

Nice rooms with all comfort and great food

Si vous recherchez un endroit rustique, basique, un peu run-down, pour un moment de repos et solitude, c’est bien là! Un bon point de départ pour les montagnes Manengouba. M. Guy, l’Administrateur, réceptionniste, cuisinier, vous fera de bien bonnes soupes et des dîners goûteux. Sécurité garantie par les gendarmes de la brigade à coté. Un bon plan.

Très bel établissement d'hébergement située dans un flanc du mont manengouba dans le village Mbouroukou. Il dispose de nombreuses qualités : les prix des chambres sont économiques, un guide de montagne est en service pour les expéditions vers les attractions touristiques de la région : les lacs jumeaux et le mont manengouba. L'air y est bien a respirer, et le calme est assuré. Mais au levé du jour vous aurez la belle symphonie des oiseaux qui vous retireront des bras de morphée
