Restaurante Súper Patacón Salento

One of the locals referred me to this place after being dropped off at the bus terminal. They offer a wide variety of options in terms of menu. I ordered the garlic trout cooked over the pan. Trout is the most popular dish in this area. The drink was a very long glass and tasted freshly made. The patacon, fried plantain is ginormous. Would visit again.

I had the garlic trout. It normally comes with a large patacon (plantain) crisp and a salad. I asked to substitute the patacon with rice and they did it!

The garlic trout was delicious! As I now expect, there were some small bones. But again, I think that’s normal. I’ve tried a few other places in Salento, and this seems to be the cheapest (25,000) and the quality is just as good as the others. The vibe is also nice. Would definitely recommend! It’s literally right off the main Calle Real.

Before I went to Colombia I did a research about local food, but I have not seen Trucha. We were told Trucha(trout) is a local and very traditonal food. I am glad I found this gem.
I love fish and this is a great place to have a special one.
We had a Trucha Marinera (trout with creamy/milky shripm sauce). It is very traditional that in Colombia you will have a shripm/seafood sauce with your fish. I love it because I do not need to decide between fish or shripm and can have both!
The other dish was Truch Gratinada (trout with a baked cheese on the top).
As a side you have a tasty salad and patacon. Patacon was a big, flat and crispy.
I would highly recommend this place.

Habíamos visto las reseñas y no defraudó. La comida es espectacular y muy abundante. Pedimos la trucha al ajillo con camarones, una delicia, cocinada al horno. También pedimos el patacón mexicano, espectacular. No pagamos mas de 90.000 pesos con comida y bebida. Es el mejor restaurante en el que hemos estado de Salento. Una cosa que deberian cambiar; en google maps aparece que esta antes del restaurante donde laura, pero esta un poquito mas abajo.

Bueníssimo el superpatacón de carnes y queso. La salsa de piña y el guacamole estaban divinos! Un sitio muy recomendable.

Este sitio ha destacado por su gran sazón y excelente atención. El súper patacón con todo y la mini bandeja paisa estuvieron deliciosos, los precios son moderados y justos para la cantidad que sirven como su buen sabor, el tiempo de espera no fue mayor a 20 minutos pese a tener el local lleno y contaban con datáfono como medio de pago. Ubicado a una cuadra del parque principal de Salento, es bastante amplio, fresco, cuenta con sillas cómodas y con una bella decoración a la vista.

Es un lugar muy lindo, con ventanas pintadas que dan un gran toque decorativo al lugar. El servicio fue un poco demorado y al pedir jugo dijeron que no estaban saliendo bebidas, pero reconozco el esfuerzo de ofrecer servicio el 31 de Diciembre. La comida estuvo deliciosa.

El lugar fue muy acogedor, y la atención al cliente fue muy buena, tienen su menú traducido lo que facilita comprenderlo para los de habla inglesa. La comida estaba muy rica, lo único que me gustaría es que no usaran un queso tan salado en sus platillos porque son deliciosos sin ese queso. Un plus para nosotros es que son petfriendly.

¡Súper!, su trucha al horno espectacular, los patacones de entrada con ahogado caliente increíbles, el jugo de mora en su punto, el consome de pollo delicioso, los precios están bien, la gente ni que se diga Súper atentos un servicio increíble. 100% recomendado, me encantó!

Muy buen sitio local para ir a comer. Pedimos mini bandeja paisa, muy completa y y súper patacon con todo, que estaba muy bueno. Abundante, crujiente y del grosor adecuado. Repetiría sin duda! Muy amables en el servicio.

Fui 2 veces xa comer y xa cenar, no había mucha gente, la atención rápida y la comida deliciosa. No es barato y tampoco caro. Comí patacón súper xa compartir, xa 2 personas está muy bn y la bandeja paisa de 34 mil xa compartir TMB. Mucha comida xa 1 sola persona. Todo muy rico

Tipico patacón muy rico, bastante variedad, la trucha al ajillo está muy buena también.
