Cucunuba is a village about 2.5 hours from Bogota in the prosperous Ubate province of Cundinamarca department. This place is a colonial village as pretty as Villa De Leyva, Barichara, Giron etc, but without the crowd. You have the entire plaza for yourself. The walk around the plaza watching people carry their business is so calming to the soul. The food options were surprisingly limited and the coffee places also open late, count that in when you travel. My recommendation is to have breakfast in Ubate and then go here and spend the day.
