Embalse del Neusa

Neusa is one of the most serene, calm, peaceful country sides I have visited so far. Also considering the fact that it is so close to the city, makes it even more special. We visited the place for a shoot and it was amazing. The trees, the birds, the lake and it's surrounding. If you're a camping fan, Do not hesitate to campnaround the lake and have an extremely chilled time out there.

Great place to go and forget for a moment the concrete jungle. Fairly close to Bogota, features a calm and relaxing environment. It is cold, don't forget your jacket!

Safe guarded area and good spots for camping. Almost no people on the weekdays. Bathrooms, sinks with clean and freezing cold water, wooden tables and parillas. You need to bring your own wood to burn (or buy on the territory). Very cold at night so extra warm blankets are highly advised. Entrance to camp is 21500 cop per person.

Neusa, such a beautiful countryside. Walking the rolling mountains and seeing the lake was just perfect.

This place is amazing! So much area to car camp in front of the water! You can camp at Laureles (to the right when you get there), where there's dense forest and it's warmer, or Chapinero (to the left), where there's no cover but you get a clear view of the sunrise and the milky way as it rises. So choose accordingly! There's almost always cloud cover here, though. It can also be a little crowded on weekends.

The park is closed but the view is worthed. Amazing lake.
