Staff was incredible friendly and helpful, as this was my first night in Costa Rica. Room was large. Beds were comfortable. But my two favorite parts were the pool and the view. The pool had a giant water slide made to look like a small mountain - my son loved it! Beyond the water side is a steep fairway for a golf course that ends at a nice lake, with the green behind it. The view - just see attached picture. Less than $100 / night, I highly recommend!

The owner's recommendations for local dining options were spot-on and the jacuzzi was the icing on the cake. Safe, clean, fantastic hosts. Stayed by the pool with a golf view. Wasn't feeling well when I stayed and the owners gave me directions to the nearby pharmacy and checked in on me multiple times. Highly recommend, hope to stay again!

Update: Second stay was even better! They made improvements to some rooms and allowed for easier in/out access of my car. They are fantastic hosts and I can't imagine staying anywhere else when in the SJO area. Fast and easy trip to and from the airport, convenient local restaurants (Moose has great pizza), and a view of the golf course and mountains!

What a beautiful property. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The back of the property is a golf course, so you get a great view and a quiet area with a beautiful mountain view.

This place is amazing! The rooms are very stylish and clean, and the shared spaces in the villa (including a dining room, pool, and hot tub) are beautiful. The staff was incredibly helpful in all aspects of our trip. They provided tips on our travel plans and helped us call local businesses when needed. They were also very flexible in their hours: we arrived late due to travel delays and had to leave early to catch our flight when we left, but the staff remained available to greet us/unlock the gate for our car at all hours. The breakfast in the morning is worth the purchase, as it is delicious. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful boutique hotel in a really nice area of San Jose...bonus is that it's 10-15 min away from the airport.

Rooms are very clean, furnished very well, beds are comfy, and they know to provide translucent-semi transparent blinds so you can sleep and not be woken up at 6AM! (This is somehow hard at every other hotel we stayed at in Costa Rica)

Breakfast was great - made to order eggs, rice/beans, tomatoes, lots of coffee, and fresh fruit.

They easily accommodated our last minute shuttle to pick us up at the airport at 1AM as we couldn't get our car rental that day.

This unique boutique hotel is exquisite. It is our favorite place to stay in San Jose. With a beautiful golf course setting and the feeling of complete security. Within walking distance to many restaurants and a mall. The entire staff is so helpful, we always come in very late and leave early and everyone has a warm greeting and smile letting us in or out. Our kids enjoy the big pool and water slide.

The rooms and hotel are beautiful - and clean! It is a smaller facility that is very well-kept by friendly, hardworking staff (appears to be a family operation).
The pool was a little chilly for my taste, but clean. Same goes for the hot tub.
The scent of reasonably priced breakfast and dinner waft from their gorgeous main kitchen into a beautiful dining room and lounge area.
This is not your big chain hotel.
We were able to book a room with short notice.
It is a very convenient, yet quiet location. About 15 mins to the airport, and within walking distance to grocery market, ATM, pharmacy, and several restaurants.
If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely stay here again!

Extremely comfortable, clean, and relaxing. The pool is GORGEOUS, and everything in our room was new and cushy. A variety of restaurants and a grocery store is a short walk away, but the residential neighborhood is quiet.

We stayed here after a flight in to Costa Rica and before a long drive to puerto viejo. The place was great, the beds were comfy and the hosts were awesome. We would definitely stay here again.

Marvelous, quaint hotel minutes away from the airport. Very private and secure residence. The rooms are spacious and the beautiful. The breakfast was great and the staff was very accommodating.

This cute little hotel is located in a great safe quiet neighborhood. You can easily walk to nearby restaurants and the nearby mall. It was the perfect hotel to start and end our Costa Rica trip. We flew in at night and took their shuttle which accommodated our group of 6, lots of luggage and surf bag. The next morning before checking out we took Uber ($6 including tip) to Alamo to pick up our rental. We did the same thing on the return. It was so smooth and stress free. We will definitely stay here again when we come back.

The room we originally booked was unavailable to us when we arrived. It was pretty late at night —we were tired and hungry so we didn’t make to much of a fuss about it. Although, we were really looking forward to the Deluxe Suite. In the morning, we checked out pretty early. We were greeted by a man (I’m guessing he was the owner of the hotel or manager) he was very apologetic about not having our room available (at this point we were fine and ready to explore CR!) He then continued to say that it was a mistake on their end and that we did not have to pay for our 1 night stay! He thanked us for choosing his hotel. Talk about customer service!!! He then gave us directions to our next destination. Overall, the hotel was safe, clean and there was private parking. We would definitely return to this hotel!

Starkly spotless and elegant after 2 weeks of traveling around the country in small hotels and hostels. Herman is a warm and welcoming host. He helped me find a great place to eat dinner (there are a lot of options) and helped me coordinate my airport transfer. A quiet place to relax on my last night in Costa Rica.

Nice quiet neighborhood a short drive to San Jose Santamaria Airport. Near restaurants and a supermarket. Nice clean rooms. Perfect for arrival day or a day before departure.

Beautiful place to stay in San Jose. Wonderful service, but our host during check in spoke minimal English, Spanish was helpful to know. The pool was incredible, comfortable beds and the breakfast was amazing.

Private gated parking, nice hotel (looks like it used to be a private mansion - turned hotel), large rooms with spacious bathrooms. Heated showers, private air conditioning and a fridge. One of the nicest hotels we've stayed in, in Costa Rica.

Great transfer hotel if you're flying in or out of San Jose. The room are stylish and clean. Breakfast was great and the pool with waterfall, water slide and jacuzzi is just perfect.
