Club & Hotel Condovac La Costa

We had a wonderful vacation here! The buffet was delicious, we saw Howler monkeys and a variety of birds every day, we loved the beach, the pools and my son enjoyed the gym. The facility is a bit outdated but otherwise perfect for a family vacation and opportunity to fully enjoy and unwind.

This was our first trip to Costa Rica. We had an amazing time as we learned about their country and culture. The view was gorgeous. We were treated like royalty from our service team and appreciated their hospitality. Oscar (Sasquatch), Memo, Tony and Randall our concierge team, and beautiful Fernanda, and all of the staff, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We enjoyed watching the monkeys, birds, and iguanas that coexist on the resort. We did some excursions that allowed to see lots of crocodiles, birds, monkeys, and iguanas in their natural habitats. We fished with Jorge and Orlando and had a successful trip. We enjoyed the slow pace and shared two meals with our hosts on our excursions. The infinity pools were very nice. Our room was a bit outdated but I enjoyed its simplicity and our view to enjoy the evening sunsets. This was a trip that we will always remember and would return to see our hospitality team again.

First of all, I read a lot of negative reviews of this place. Yet here I am having the time of my life. The service is top drawer. The food is good, the ambiance is fantastic and the employees are really compelled to ensure you have a great time. Could the place use a lick of paint here or there? Sure ... But the booze flows freely, the views are phenomenal and my kids love it here. We have had a fantastic vacation here and love the pure vida. Now I have to go as Cesar is pouring me another glass of red wine and my eldest a strawberry and pineapple smoothie.

We had an amazing 4 night stay at Condovac la Costa. In mid-July. Myself and 7 family members were treated so well. I was so confused by some of the negative reviews left by previous guests. The food was amazing. The entertainment was great. The beach was perfect and our rooms were nice and cold for all our stay. I would highly recommend a visit here. We hope to visit again in the future. I cant leave out the amazing staff who were so kind, helpful and loving. Beautiful people, beautiful country and just an amazing time!

First off this is not a "5" star resort built for Americans. This was originally built 40 years ago for locals to go on vacation which they still do. As an American you will probably only see 10-15% fellow Americans, otherwise it is locals. The service is fantastic, the food is very local, fresh and delicious. Location is amazing, just a short walk to the beach. There are four main pools where two have infinite views. Thursdays through Sundays they have great entertainment. Tours can be booked through the resort (get out and do the boat tours you won't regret it) The condo is dated however again if you want an isolated all inclusive with four seasons luxury, then this place is not for you and you should be booking the 4 Seasons.

Olam Spa... The spa service is to die for. As someone who get massages all over the world my husband and i were shocked by how fantastic this resort spa was. We received a 2 hour treatment by 2 of the most proficient and professional masseuses we've ever experienced. Well done Condovac.

This is an awesome place to spend your vacation, staff here is so helpful and accommodating. The food is delicious, thank you Oscar for the wonderful service. And Ronald is an incredible bar tender thank you all for your hard work <3 The nightly shows and entertainment is really fun. Thank you so much Fataniza for being so amazing! Your beachclub show was awesome <3

We stayed at Condovac La Costa for 2 weeks in December 2021 and had a great and memorable time. 1 bedroom apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed including full kitchen with a large fridge. Having breakfast on an open veranda on top of the hill was fantastic. The breakfast was good and enough not to feel hungry until evening. And the beach is beautiful. Views are amazing...
It's pretty amazing they have bumper cars, ferris wheel and a cotton candy machines.

Rooms are basic and the hike to the beach or restaurant is a fun one if you don't catch the shuttle.

But overall, great place to stay for the price.

I read a lot of bad reviews but decided to give them a shot. I don’t have one complaint food and stay were super awesome. Definitely coming back.

Amazing Staff!!! Friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Staff caters to the needs of the guests :with a smile" which is missing from many American places. Condovac should be added to your travel list. The views are amazing. You many have friendly guests of nature while you dine...you will enjoy them and they are entertaining 😊😊.

First time in Costa Rica, it was an awesome experience great Hotel comfortable beds, good food and drinks, the best of the Hotel is the SERVICE you get from the WAITRESSES every one here was so nice and very helpful and attentive. Really good view from infinity pool, a lot of options for kids definitely will be coming back to this Hotel ♥♥♥♥♥

I spent a week in Hermosa beach , going to the beach and eating in nearby restaurants, riding a bike and riding a jet ski, the truth was an incredible experience. Some problems that I find are that in the rainy season the place can be flooded and that in high season it gets very crowded. Some recommendations that I give them is that they bring sunscreen or something to cover themselves from the sun since they can burn, also bring money to buy food and to stay somewhere.

I had an amazing time at Condovac, Evan when the hotel has been around for a while, it has aged well and the facilities are well kept. The pools could use some maintenance specially the infinity pool, but the water is clean and the size is good, but most important is the view overlooking the beach down the hill. The hotel offers transportation within the pool, the beach, parking areas and rooms. The beach is nice and clean with strong waves and the hotel offers towels for the pool and beach. The rooms are spacious and in good condition with enough appliances to cook a full meal. You will have a great time in Condovac.

Great place. It is on a hill side that goes down to the beach, steep hill. Very nice staff, very nice swimming pools. Good selection of food and drink. Geart Zipline experience 55 minutes fown the road. Punr Vida

Excellent service, I'm allergic to eggs, during the breakfast buffet they were really caring about my allergy. They would cook a full delicious breakfast just for me everyday. Plus the nice views you get from the social areas.

The staff was very helpful and spoke fluent English which made it easier for us to navigate. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The all around beauty of this resort is astounding. Pictures do no do it justice.

It's our third year visiting Condovac and we love it here. The people are great and the food is delicious. A nice pool overlooking the water is a fine way to spend an afternoon. The wood fired pizza oven is done and they make a great pizza. A short walk to the beach where the howler monkeys are is amazing. They have activities for the kids as well as the adults so it's a great family place.

Look for Jessica’s photography she’s wonderful Randall with excursions will help you with and thing you need the massage is great food was wonderful people were wonderful love this place I would recommend it all day long *****
