Parqueo Reserva Monteverde cloud Forest

Loved it! Great national park with different hiking routes.
We did the waterfall hike which was very nice, the Sendero Nuboso and hanging bridge.
It took us around 3 hours. We saw different birds, squirrel and wild boar.
We booked the tickets online and came around 7:30 am. It wasn't crowded at all the whole time we've been there.
Parking: we decided to park in the parking lot (paid 5$) and there was shuttle that takes you to the park. We saw people parking on the street for free near the entrance.

Nice reserve for the famous cloud forest especially with an experienced knowledgeable guide you will be maximizing your experience in this area.

The park is well protected and the trails are in good condition. Be advised though - the $5 parking is about 1km downhill from the entrance and you need to take a shuttle to the top.

Very nice park, great forest and amazingly well organized park. Like many parks this is great parks for sport strollers to have your babies with you.

This is the best option when goind to the reserve. They have shuttle service because is a little far from the entrance.

Must see place

Wunderschöner Nationalpark mit Flora und Fauna. Wir waren um 7.30 Uhr dort und auf den Wegen praktisch alleine unterwegs. Reservierung der Tickets sehr ratsam. Überwachter Parkplatz in der Nähe vorhanden.

El pueblo de Monteverde es horrible, el acceso es pésimo tanto por Abangares como por Sardinal, si tienes un carro bajo o sedan mejor alquile un 4x4.

La reserva es hermosa las fotos dan fe.

Para ver el quetzal, nada mejor que contratar un guía. Si pueden contactar o encontrar a Carlos "Charly" Luis, es un genio el señor. Muy recomendado.

Una maravilla contacto natural 100% recomendado para quien gusta senderismo, area de cafetería y souvenirs exc!!

Excelente atención en el albergue y en el restaurante Raíces. Las fotos las tomé desde el balcón de Raíces. Y sin palabras del majestuoso bosque nuboso.

C'est là qu'il faut se garer pour rejoindre la réserve : 5 dollars, navette rapide et efficace, sécurisé et personnel sympa. Content d'avoir évité d'avoir poursuivi la route plus haut jusqu'à l'entrée du parc, où les places sont anarchiques.

Belle expérience en montagne! Les sentiers sont bien entretenus, la nature est splendide et la vue est magnifique!
