The food was absolutely delicious!! My plate was so clean when I was done 😂 they have traditional food and more fast food style items.

The portions are really big and generous, I left so happy and full 😋 the price was also cheap and affordable! I would definitely recommend ❤

DELICIOUS MOUTH WATERING CHICKEN STRIPS AND TARTAR SAUCE!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s all I could have ever dreamed of I really needed some good chicken tenders man and they delivered. TEN out of five stars.

We stoped here when we saw an open table because we had seen locals eating here all week. We shared a meat soup (soap de carne, not on the menu) as a light lunch and it was so unique and delicious. One of my favorite meals in Monte Verde. It is a small place in the corner of the mall with 3 outside tables and room for a couple more people to eat.

Definitely exceeded my expectations! Unassuming tucked in the corner of the parking lot outside the supermarket. All of the locals go here (my husband is from Monteverde). I am vegetarian and was surprised how many vegetarian options they had given most sofas don’t have very many if any at all. Would 100% recommend for breakfast or lunch. I ordered the veggie burger and it was the best one I had in all of Costa Rica! Patty was made in house. Also order a fresh natural juice, they were so delicious! My husband and his parents ordered casados and said they were the best in the town. Any negative reviews I’ve seen were people who ordered the steak. Steak in Costa Rica isn’t prepared in the same way as it is in North America so best not to order it unless you go to a very American restaurant. Don’t expect over the top service, this is more of a cafe style place. Food is prepared with love and care, you’ll see it in the details. I’ll be a repeat customer for sure!

Very good and fresh food, I really enjoyed the casado and sopa azteca. The coffee wasn’t very good though, so I’d skip it.

The food was fantastic - I would highly recommend the chicken rice or the chicken with white sauce...Its all freshly made and tastes fantastic..

The service on the other hand is not the best (but the food compensates for it)... They seemed to be overwhelmed since they have the same person cooking and serving. I would still highly recommend this restaurant and we eat there 2 days in a row..

Don't get scared by the look of the place, you will get the best local food possible there

This place deserves all the stars. They cook all the dishes fresh and the food is so good. If your looking for quality food for cheap price this is the place to go. Hands down best place in Monte Verde.

Los casados y la sopa azteca una delicia .! La señora muy amable pero la chica que trabaja con ella le falta servicio al cliente ya que no es muy amable . De igual manera recomiendo el lugar por que la señora que cocina se llevó los créditos en su comida .

El omelette de jamón es ESPECTACULAR.

El Almuerzo realmente vale la pena. Lunch is really worth to try.

Arroz con pollo= una delicia.
Rice with chicken = is delicious.

El arroz con camarones = generoso en camarones, rica ensalada y papas.
Rice with prawn = plenty of shrimp, fresh salad and French Fries.

La mayonesa es casera.
Mayo is homemade.

El "Casado con bistec encebollado" es muy bueno, abundante y muy barato.
The "Married-man-platter with onioned beef-steak" is very good, abundant and real cheap.

Totalmente RECOMENDADO.
Highly RECOMMENDED.
